I love how real Benny is. I resonate a lot with what he says about how music just comes to you. You don't have to be TALENTED like a master musician. You just have to feel it.

You have to do the music is important part, write your own shit. Being a perfect jukebox player is way overrated.
Absolutely right. That’s the crazy part about music. You don’t need to be professionally trained at the institute of snobbish rich kids. If you have an ear for music and you have authentic sharp ideas then the path becomes a little more clear. Of course everyone needs a ton of luck in the sense that you meet the right ppl at the right time, but when the universe says lets fucking go you’ll be ready.
@@SilentNinjaaa or when the universe tells you to stop, you should. Cosmic shame, I know.. but you must. Also, no reason to talk shit on people who are professionally trained just because you couldn’t afford it.
Appreciate the time you take for these interviews. For a writer, learning little tricks you do in production with Finneas or Ed are gold.
