Hi, I don't often say this but I prefer MDF for this job. When it is painted wood often leaves a less than excellent finish showing the grain through even the fourth coat at times. It is the only time I will use MDF as I hate it for any other jobs.

Your hallway is looking fresh and clean. I am sure you are relieved to be finished. BTW you have great parenting skills.

Tim, I have to come across an easier way of coping skirting and coving by Finish Carpentry TV using an angle grinder and a flap disk. Maybe will be helpful to you in the furture projects. Hope you all keeping well

    Great job :-)
What's the nail gun your using? I'm in the market for one but don't need an all-singing-all-dancing palasode Gas/cordless.

It's a tacwise 240v. Not bad but not as good as an air nailer. You could check the ryobi 18v nailer as that has good reviews from what I have seen.

The Restoration Couple cheers, I'll check at the Ryobi. I'd like to go the airtools route but no space for the compressor currently and need a solution that's portable to site.

Hi, where did you get dado rail? Most options I see online are only 40mm and not as nice as your rail

Completely skipped over how to get the two angled joins at the top and bottom of the stairs which was the whole reason for me watching this video.
