    I've never understood why in other chiropractic videos they seem to try to tear the patient's head off with the Y strap. This man did it slowly and gently and it did the trick.

      Depends on what you consider “doing the trick”. His adjustment uses way less force and that’s the reason it doesn’t go all the way down. This guys said he only got decompression in the neck/shoulder area. More force is needed for it to go “all the way down”

    This chiropractor did a thorough examination before manipulation. I'd trust this guy to really help. He probably gives little exercises to do at home too. He's very patient centred by being such a good communicator describing what he's doing and why. He is always checking in with the patient. Professional job, sir 👏 😊

I have severe kyphosis among other things. Went from being 5'5" tall to 5'0" in 3 years. So painful and debelitating. I watch a lot of videos and some are not gentle and I cant hardly move my neck..im so scared to go to someone I cant see their work on youtube. • @DrPaulMonitto
      @DrPaulMonitto  2 роки тому +60

      Thank you Matt for you comments, compliments and for watching/subscribing. When I was 10 years old, I suffered with cluster/migraine headaches. My mother took me to multiple doctors who did test after test and tried drug after drug. Nothing was working and the side effects of the medications were terrible. My mother's friend told us about her chiropractor and that he might be able to help. At this point we were willing to try anything. We went and the chiropractor started adjusting me and slowly the headaches became less frequent, less severe and eventually stopped. The entire family was getting adjusted by this time and we continued with maintenance care once a month. I kind of knew when I was 10 that this is what I wanted to do, but it wasn't until I turned 17 that my chiropractor talked to me and I went to a big chiropractic seminar in Atlanta which sealed the deal for me. I graduated in 1981 at the age of 22, the youngest graduate at the time, then did an internship in Michigan before coming to Asheville in 1982 to open my own practice. As you can tell by my videos I love what I do, still after 40 years and I go to the office to see patients 7 days a week. It's not work if you love what you do. It's a labor of love. I'll probably be practicing as long as I am physically able and have no plans to retire.

      @@DrPaulMonitto Thank you for sharing Dr. Paul. What an amazing story. I am 23 years old now, I can't imagine being the youngest graduate at chiro school. Q: What are your thoughts on freshly graduated doctors , are they lacking anything in specific? Also, as an audience member I think your story deserves a video here on this platform to explain WHY you continue doing what you do.

    • @DrPaulMonitto

      @@itsmatthewalvarado So... my chiropractor is a freshly graduated doc, 2019 who started his own practice during a pandemic, Jan 2020. He is on fire, has the passion, love, gift of service and is a great adjuster, that it takes today to be successful. He reminds me of myself when I was that age. The newer chiropractors have technology which I didn't have starting out. I had to do actual leg work to build my practice. Today with UA-cam, social media etc, it's a different world. I'd love to do a video explaining the why. And... thank you again for your interest and sincerity, I muchly appreciate it!
