I've never understood why in other chiropractic videos they seem to try to tear the patient's head off with the Y strap. This man did it slowly and gently and it did the trick.
Depends on what you consider “doing the trick”. His adjustment uses way less force and that’s the reason it doesn’t go all the way down. This guys said he only got decompression in the neck/shoulder area. More force is needed for it to go “all the way down”
This chiropractor did a thorough examination before manipulation. I'd trust this guy to really help. He probably gives little exercises to do at home too. He's very patient centred by being such a good communicator describing what he's doing and why. He is always checking in with the patient. Professional job, sir 👏 😊
I love the difference between the big channels and channels like this I have a family friend who is a Chiropractor and his setup was also basic and didnt need all the expensive stuff to do his work
What a awesome session. Very gentle and you explain what your doing. I'd give anything to live closer. Im in a rural area and closest one is 1 hour away. I have severe kyphosis among other things. Went from being 5'5" tall to 5'0" in 3 years. So painful and debelitating. I watch a lot of videos and some are not gentle and I cant hardly move my neck..im so scared to go to someone I cant see their work on youtube. Anyway keep doing what you do, your awesome and I love watching the relief patients get. If I can ever get a ride there, im making an appointment with you. Take care.

Thank you Matt for you comments, compliments and for watching/subscribing. When I was 10 years old, I suffered with cluster/migraine headaches. My mother took me to multiple doctors who did test after test and tried drug after drug. Nothing was working and the side effects of the medications were terrible. My mother's friend told us about her chiropractor and that he might be able to help. At this point we were willing to try anything. We went and the chiropractor started adjusting me and slowly the headaches became less frequent, less severe and eventually stopped. The entire family was getting adjusted by this time and we continued with maintenance care once a month. I kind of knew when I was 10 that this is what I wanted to do, but it wasn't until I turned 17 that my chiropractor talked to me and I went to a big chiropractic seminar in Atlanta which sealed the deal for me. I graduated in 1981 at the age of 22, the youngest graduate at the time, then did an internship in Michigan before coming to Asheville in 1982 to open my own practice. As you can tell by my videos I love what I do, still after 40 years and I go to the office to see patients 7 days a week. It's not work if you love what you do. It's a labor of love. I'll probably be practicing as long as I am physically able and have no plans to retire.

He is on fire, has the passion, love, gift of service and is a great adjuster, that it takes today to be successful. He reminds me of myself when I was that age. The newer chiropractors have technology which I didn't have starting out. I had to do actual leg work to build my practice. Today with UA-cam, social media etc, it's a different world. I'd love to do a video explaining the why. And... thank you again for your interest and sincerity, I muchly appreciate it!

Will health insurance cover this? I ask because I've been considering seeing a chiropractor. I have pain in my shoulder blade area and my rib cage area from having slept on a broken mattress for years. I'm still in my 30's, and not overweight, but man do I get aches and pains in those areas.

You don’t want a y-strap. It’s the same movement as when they hang people. Or get someone to gently pull. Neck traction is ok but not sudden pulling movements. The one in this video isn’t too bad because it is slow

I can adjust a whole body in less then 5 minutes. Experience and education tend to do this but you wouldn't know since you got none.

Thank you Chris for your comments and for watching! He plays soccer and does weight training, but no football. He's not in too bad shape. This video was filmed to demonstrate a full body adjustment and Y-strap in my office for people that have never seen or heard of it, and to ease their concerns or fear.
