The only problem I've run into with Tacos is their interaction with Smart Grabbers. Smart Grabbers may show a full tray, but they will take a tray with ANY AMOUNT of tacos. So if that tray only gets 1 taco (like if you're trying to load it from a frozen prep), then the smart grabber will pull it since that tray is no longer empty. Probably a limitation in the base game since everything else has various ingredients/items you'd normally have but tacos are the same item multiple times. Don't think you can train it to take a tray with varying amounts of tacos, but I don't see why that couldn't be possible.
I think everything in the game that can be portioned gets that same treatment for Smart Grabbers. I usually auto-serve using the entire Taco Tray and never portioning individual tacos out though so I haven't run into issues with that mechanic.
Haha I feel like ur listening to my comments but I have my doubts great video tho! Keep it up! I love following your steps and restarting when I don't get the same cards 😂
So you're glad that you still have to move a slow as shit crane across the map when drag and drop was just "click here, drop there"? Weird. Also, Drag N Drop allows you to move the entire blueprint cab without removing blueprints from it first.
On PC, the crane is as fast as you can move the mouse (although visually it moves slower). Yeah, two things I still miss is moving cabinets around easily and also adjusting rotating grabbers. But overall I'm happy it's a base game feature that everyone can get access to now. I think for console users, even the slow crane is a significant quality of life improvement than without.
Imagine watching evrryone else get their tacos in 0.2s, only for the chef to completely blank you and do all their paperwork before coming back
Ever since I saw there was the taco update, I was waiting to see if you make an automation video. So glad you did! Was very fun to watch 🌸
Looking forward to the franchising video 👍
Thank you for a new video! I'm sick with covid in bed and this will be a great hour! 🎉
Hope you recover quickly!
Probably the easiest automation since coffee. Great to see a vid on it though.
Yeah, the base tacos is easy but gets complicated once you start adding all the toppings!
I remember when you had 600 subscribers you've come a long way and I'm here for it keep up the amazing work your great
You probably could have used one more metal table to serve 3 customers at once, but great stuff as always

Viewer comments are helpful, thanks for your suggestions!
@HydraBurrito no worries I love giving you challenges that I face hard to see u succeed and trying to copy it
Nice i been waiting for this
What does the m over some of the tacos mean?
It’s from color blind mode, for meat taco. If you get other toppings it’ll show like MLT or something like that
hey uhhh where can i find this speedrunning tool? i want to find a seed with specific cards
You can find the speedrun seed searcher in the set seed basics guide here: www.speedrun.com/plateup/guides
What happened to the potatoes after you set up automation
I switched to using Metal Tables, which makes serving sides optional
