Sad to see how big Vulvodynia was getting, all to end up like it has. Thoughts for Tom and the boys' recovery. Everything isnt always what it seems.
Vulvodynia no se separó, la banda va a seguir con otro vocalista, Duncan no es único, hay otros vocalistas que pueden ocupar perfectamente lo que era su puesto. Apoyo a Vulvodynia, ahora Duncan solo va a intentar hundirlos. Debería estar en un hospital psiquiátrico por su comportamiento tan agresivo. lo que pasó ahora solo fue la gota que rebasó el vaso, ya tenía un largo historial de problemas con los integrantes, además de que en un show le pegó a una persona. Es triste pero pueden seguir sin Duncan

Vulvodynia band members are very approachable last time they played at wacken metal battle Philippines last March 2023. They're very kind. Duncan joined the crowd , we took selfie with him and their guitarist Kris Xenopoulos and drummer Thomas. Hope to see you again in Manila guys.

It's so sick to see Vulvodynia finally starting to get the recognition they deserve. Seeing them finally start touring in a bus instead of a cramped up nasty van brings a smile to my face. They earned it. Unique Leader is hooking their artists up. BTW, Duncan is looking DRASTICALLY different without his beard lol.
Saw them for the first time this past Friday, and holy shit, they absolutely blew me away. Hands down the best band I've ever seen live, obviously it helps that I'm a fan anyway but still 🤣🤘🤘

I saw these guys perform without ever having seeing anything on the band previously and you would think Duncan is a maniac if you just had the music and the performances to go off of. It's awesome to see those guys are cool.
Maniac has a whole new meaning to his name now.. sad, met him at their last SA show with him in April and thought he was the nicest dude ever. Would never have guessed he was problematic
@@vandelayart Took the words right out of my mouth dude. I've been sober for 7 years but if there's one thing I know about alcoholics, it's how good we become at hiding it. AA doesn't like to use the term "functioning alcoholic" because it gives off the impression we can manage the addiction on our own. The truth is genuine alcoholism can't be managed by the person alone. As time passes, we become wizards of manipulation and our drinking problem gets easier to hide from others. All of us hit rock-bottom at different speeds.
I really hope the drummer makes a full recovery and that Duncan gets the professional help he desperately needs, because this shit breaks my heart.

I'm a recovering addict as well, been in the rooms since 2018 and I've been around addicts for the last decade (including the music scene) so I know exactly what you're talking about. In Vulvodynia's statement they said they realized the problem is a lot darker than just his drinking and it's not only alcohol that sets him off (I think he was sober when he attacked Tom this time), not sure 100% if he was sober or not because as you said addicts are masters at hiding it, but usually the problem is a lot deeper which is why there is a dual diagnosis unit at rehabs for addicts.. I sincerely hope he gets the help he needs, he seems to be in denial still and is not mentally well. I just could not believe what I was reading because when I hung out with him (for about half an hour) by the merch stand after the show, chatting away with him I was so impressed by how friendly and charming and nice this guy was. We were taking selfies and having a great time. I'm South African and this was the last show they ever played here before this current tour they're on now. I'm really disappointed now knowing that guy I met just last month has caused so much pain and suffering for his band members. Usually it's the people you least expect it as an outsider.
