One thing nice about these Cryo's mixes, is that there maybe a couple of tracks that stand out and become your favorites. Songs that you heard a few years back and never left you. PROTOU's "Believe" is one of them for me.
Beautiful, as always, Cryo Chamber. Perfect for writing. I have quite a few chapters to edit and rearrange, this will be great to have playing in the background. 🎶
The title alone is so specific, yet it can spark so much fantasy. Imagine yourself in an offworld-colony. Maybe you came to start a new life, or you are a traveller trying to witness as much beauty the universe has to offer before you kick the bucket. Perhaps you got sent here by the government to lead the spearheading of the colonization of this new planet. One morning after breakfast you take a walk out of the makeshift accomodations into the landscape of the would-be terraformed world. The teams before your arrival have worked really hard to make the dead atmosphere suitable enough. The extreme heat that once threatened the integrity of the habitats got lead into the planets mantle and the dense layers of carbon-dioxide lays now compressed in billions of barrels stored inside vaults. Though you still need to wear a mask to breath you can take steps outside without needing to wear a suit. The air still itches a bit in your eyes, which is sub-optimal of course, but they will get used to it eventually. You hear the crackling of the rough terrain below your boots and the atmosphere seems to get clearer every day. As you go to the edge of the radiation-protection-field of the magnetic generator that protects the housings around it you look out to the rocky hills and valleys covered in fog. The stones are still grey and untouched. Humans are the first lifeforms here alongside the flora they took with them to cultivate the land. As you look into the landscape you begin to imagine it covered in lush green along rivers and lakes once all the hard terraforming is done.
I call this planet The Cryo This planet is a frozen wastleland nothing but ice and darkness The frozen ocean stretches far and wide, no living creatures or things can live in that frozen planet, the first explorers said that there are mountains of ice that produces melodic, sad and dark sound inside it if you lend your ear close to it and listen it calms your heart and mind
The rain won't stop. the rain won't stop and there's something in it. do you see it? it wants to be seen. look at -me- it. it gains power -i gain power- when you acknowledge it! -look at me- . don't look at it -LOOK AT ME!-
I just got back from working in what seemed like an off world but it was the Ukraine 2022. Our world is changing before our eyes but most of humanity makes the choice to be blind to it. Prepare yourself and those you love for what is coming. Learn how to survive the system no matter who is at the wheel. America is moving into a dangerous time of instability and uncertainty so of you have not been preparing these last few years you are already behind the 8ball so get moving. I wish you good fortune in the wars to come.
Too self absorbed and depressing. I prefer the magical music of Vangelis from Blade Runner. It's possible to have melancholy in music without it becoming droning, one note navel gazing, which unfortunately is the case for a lot of cc's picks. There is some truly great music in here, but I have to trudge through a lot of mud to find those rare gems and it's a draining experience.
