Brother in Christ here! We’re the same age my dear sister, and I vowed and told the Lord that I’m giving him this year of singleness. And I plan to do that until the Lord decides to give me who ever the Lord wants me to be with. You should do the same! I tried to control my singleness a lot, even though I knew I just couldn’t afford to be with an unbeliever, I was talking to worldly people flirting just to get by feeling alone. As soon as I made my vow the enemy sent me beautiful women but they weren’t serving the Lord, so I had to let that go. Trust the Lord and take this vow. I had to comment to let you know that yes there are guys your age in the same boat as you! I want a family and children, but before then I want to be close to the Lord, put him first and let him work in me. I need the Lord to make leader I need to be to truly be the head of my home! So keep praying and seeking the Lord. One day you’ll thank the Lord for allowing you the time to grow into who you needed to be all along!

I also made a vow many years ago that I would not date unless God brings me my husband, not wanting to waste my time on wrong people and being distracted from what God is calling me to do. Hearing from brothers and sisters in Christ who are putting God above their desire to be in a relationship and trusting in God on His perfect time inspires me a lot 😊

He's been watching you two move closer and closer to each other every day till the day you met face to face. I pray God blesses you both and your marriage. I pray for the growth of your family, and that you have many children and grandchildren. I pray God does amazing things with your marriage. I pray that each day you give God glory by the love you two have for each other and for him. The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone.
