    I just had one of these as a loaner while my IS 350 was in for its 10k service…. No BS, I’m VERY seriously considering trading in my IS 350 for one of these! I was “holy shit” impressed by how well this thing rode and drove! It had the SMOOTHEST automatic transmission I’ve EVER experienced. It literally feels like a CVT but it’s not! It was insane and it blew my mind that an automatic GEARED transmission could be engineered THAT smoothly. I was DAMN impressed! Beyond that, the comfort, space and styling of these are absolutely top-notch! The wood steering wheel really stood out and was a very elegant touch! The RX literally felt like a SUV version of my IS! Except WAY smoother and comfy. I’ve never been a SUV guy, but after driving that RX 350, I’m sold! I got my IS back and being completely honest, the next day heading to work I was already missing the size, height and comfort of that RX….

    I got an RX 350 a month ago. Love it. I had leased a genesis suv 80. Hated it. It’s got too many distractions. Gave it back to dealer. The Lexus IS great. Has just about everything. I love the CD player plus the fact that it’s not only push button but has knobs for radio and Volume. It’s also got compartments for keeping change for meters as well as on bottom of doors has even a cut out space for a bottle. Really perfect suv. I had in my past all the latest model vehicles from Jaguar,landrover,Lincoln,hummer2.
    Nothing beats the Lexus RX 350.
    At first I hesitated. But once I got it and kept discovering it’s simple operated options I fell in love. Thanks Lexus and thank G-d fir sending smart people who created Lexus.

      I have the 2021 luxury model. From what I'm seeing here, there's virtually no change in the '22, altho that's not a bad thing whatsoever - hard to top perfection!!! I can only attest that so far this is pretty much the ideal road vehicle.

    I just traded our 1 year old Genesis GV80 for a 2022 Lexus RX350 Luxury. I’ll be honest…. the style, tech, interior and performance sucks compared to the GV. The RX is however a much nicer ride and the steering is also waaaay better. The main reason we turfed our GV was a very poor dealership experience, poor after-sales service and very questionable reliability in the winter months. The 2 winters we had the GV…. it ran rough in -25 celsius or colder. Hyundai mechanic said that was normal across all of Hyundais V6 engines. 😳 Heat also stopped blowing from the entire passenger side of the car. They currently do not have a fix for this issue and we have been out of heat since mid-December and it is now February…. dealership told me to write into Genesis Canada to get the issue expedited to Korean techs. They had 8 other GV’s in waiting for a fix on the no-heat issue. 😳 My experience has sucked with Genesis and this is only a couple of problems we’ve had. We wanted to go back to Toyota as our previous dealership had been awesome as well as all our Toyotas but we wanted more luxury and got the RX350. We take it home in a month. It definitely doesn’t garnish the attention the GV does.

    • @RichieRichMD
      @RichieRichMD 5 місяців тому

      @beri232; I hear you, after over 17 vehicles through the years I finally decided two years ago for the luxury 2022 Lexus RX 350, there is no comparison with the others (Germans and Americans) like the V6 smooth sailing, and everything in it, since I have an extensive CD collection its refreshing to have a CD player, most important Lexus reliability, quality and it runs on 87 octane gasoline, that’s a big plus compared to other so-so 4cylinder turbo engines.
      Dealer experience has been great, with loaner and refreshments, nothing else compares.

    Huge advantage of RX over its competitors you failed to mention is it runs just fine on regular fuel (not the hybrid I understand). I’m not aware of another premium SUV like this that does not require premium. This will save some real money every year if you drive a lot.

    • @nkgudih
      @nkgudih 3 роки тому +5

      So, true. I was surprised many salespeople don't even know this and its a huge added advantage for the V6. Similar to the hybrid, many don't know they come with 8 year/195 000km warranty (might slightly differ country to country)

    • @beri232
      @beri232 3 роки тому +2

      True. It runs on regular but I hardly call an RX350 a “premium” vehicle. Ancient tech, awful infotainment (dated as hell), no performance and a mild step up from Toyota in terms of luxury. I wanted to love the RX350 due to its reliability ratings but we ultimately chose the GV80 Prestige and have been extremely happy so far.

    People don't be fooled by your Lexus dealers, when they talk abut Lexus RX 350 year 2022 they advertise so many optionals on this model but your RX 350 dosen't have any of those on it, and your seller doesn't tell you. Unfortunately you will trust the advertisements, and think your RX 350 you pleased should have all typical coverages they advertised, but you will realize the car you purchased has none of those.

      Work at a car company what is more “advanced” self driving doesn’t really work because every so often the car just fouls up big time and the driver dies. Touch screens that OEM specific are the worst thing for the customer because there use to be a universal standard and Tesla broke it so it’s all touch screens and digital… burn in is a real thing just saying.

      It’s definitely the best looking in the segment so. But as far as tech, what tech lol what tech other then assistance and safety tech. People say tech but never elaborate on what technology and if you can drive your car having lane keep assist and shit like that is pretty obsolete unless your bad at driving or lazy. But unless the car can do something extraordinary or absolutely cool and it’s useful like pulling up to your house and it senses the car and it automatically opens the garage ect stuff like tht, that’s cool tech. But if all people are talking about is assistance and safety tech and the car parking for you that’s not really something I care about and most people don’t care about.

    The review sounds like an info commercial for the vehicle not an honest review. Also I didn't know this car had a self driving feature. You kept taking your hands off the wheel. If you had a front tire have a major sidewall failure the wheel would spin so fast you wouldn't be able to regain control and end up upside down. For a honest review of good things and bad things watch The Car Care Guy and Scotty Kilmer.

    Either I missed it or it’s a typical bait and switch or just lack of basic details to note what trim level we are looking at, since a lot of the features can cost 10’s of thousands dollars extra and are not available on base model. Indeed here is a 2022 review that shows the window sticker of $46,000 and each of the $9,000 in options the car has taking price to over $55,000.
