- “In The Meantime” is the brainchild of Patrick “Curly Loxx” Gaynor. It is written, recorded, and produced entirely by him. With this program, he attempts to fill the void created when “Stir It Up” is between volumes. The concept is a radio show parody that is centered around the satirical discussion of serious social topics
Today's topic in episode 3 entitled (The relation- ships we sink) is centered around the recent and not so recent upsurge of violence against women in Jamaica and the world. Patrick addresses the egocentric inner realities of the human being that create the one-sided mindsets that cause and perpetuate the kinds of crimes that are devastating in their consequences to any society ignorant of these subconscious inner realities that control the often terrible outcomes we experience when we attempt to make relationships work.

Hey Curly may I add one more thing...recently I had a conversation with a fam. I tried to explain i don't see anyone being educated about relationship and the mental illness that comes with it. Love is something we learn from media. But we need to learn how to navigate and stop expecting we all should know and we don't know. This shit should not be learn as you go. That's why many of us a dead or go mad.

This so true. In the black community we have not been taught real love. It comes from the music and media which is misconstrued as it paints a false realty. Both men and women enter relationships with false expectations. It is more than the physical. Every other ethnicity sticks together and have family values. Chinese, Italians, Jews etc but in our community our families are broken and fighting against each other and we have no generation wealth. Every generation come and start from scratch and keeps making the same mistakes not learning from the one before us. We need to change that and start working together
