"Collie Man" was performed live at Roberto's TRI Studios on September 13, 2011. It was an honor being invited by the Grateful Dead and Furthur's Bob Weir into his state of the art TRI Studios. Built by our friends at Meyer Sound Labs, and utilizing the technology of their new Constellation sound system, Slightly Stoopid had the privilege to invite some of their close friends and family down to "Roberto's" TRI clubhouse for an unprecedented live webcast and in-studio performance.
Our good friend Tommy Chong came down and hosted the event and provided some "Wisdom". Our extended family of musical guests joining us and playing on the session, features Karl Denson, Ivan and Ian Neville of Dumpstaphunk, Don Carlos, and Bob Weir himself!
The result is a 31 song / 2 set acoustic and electric performance including behind the scenes rehearsal footage, and a rare interview segment moderated by Tommy Chong.
Last but not least, a portion of all proceeds will benefit 2 charitable organizations whom the band supports: Save the Children and World Food Programme

been to 2 of their shows at whitewater in New Braunfels. Such a great spot for live music,, float the river during the day and go see/listen to some great music at a beautiful venue... SS is awesome live and the crowd atmosphere is amazing. 10/10 highly (lol) recommend, ill be seeing them again.

When they came to Dallas with Pepper I got standing only pit tickets for an indoor venue and halfway through the show this kid lit a blunt next to me and passed it my way, so were smoking and im hitting it with my head down forward blowing down, while this irie guy was taking hits with his head up blowing ganja in the air, about the 3rd time of him doing this a 300lbs linebacker of a security guard wrapped his torpedo of an arm around his shoulder and across his chest from behind and picked him up, no dragged him while our full attention was on the band and said mary-ja-wanna.
While at the same show the lead singer of Fishbone, who opened that night, was walking around the venue before the show like he was on an acid trip just walking around in a complete state of what could only be called "odd" while everyone was like who the hell is this dude tripping his balls off.

Does anyone know the tuning they do live for Collie Man? It sounds like the high E is tuned down maybe.
+jkhavaran i always thought the same thing because when i played it it never quite sounded right, but one day my high e broke so i played it without the high e at all and it sounded alot better. so i think they do tune it down and possibly the b string as well.
+Kyle Horner that makes sense, especially if it sounded better without the high e. Maybe they tune the high e to b?
