Here's an idea: get the people who watch PDS into a dating group! That way we all have an understanding of how healthy relationships work and we aren't swimming in the ocean looking for a partner, rather a little lagoon of self growth and awareness ❤
Just forma meetup from pds in the local areas, since PDs is getting bigger and bigger❤ I get all my friends and love interest to do thais quiz and then talk about it😅
LOVED THIS! I always saw her on TIKTOK but wasn’t vibing with her too well, but I trust Thais and gave it a listen and WOW. Yes, being vulnerable is the hardest part for me and I can’t say “I need you”. I’m Fearful Avoidant and it’s not in my vocabulary lol. Listening here, I learned that I can try, “ I am terrified to say this right now” , because I am terrified to be vulnerable and transparent.
Awesome congratulations Thais, I'm so happy for you and your podcast!! And this video is just in time, I've been curious about texting and relationships for a while!!! Great video!! Thank you and love you Thias❤
I want y’all to discuss the ethics of placing romance and love at the forefront of human life and experience. Is breeding based behaviors still acceptable to base an entire career, life, podcast, etc etc on? We no longer are in a desperate situation to maintain the population, we no longer need every single person to aggressively try to make babies and try to keep them alive, but we’re all still being encouraged to act as such. Have you ever considered you are harming our society but enabling all these sex and love addicts?
Interesting. I haven't been in a romantic relationship in many, many years - and not looking. It's hard to feel out-of-step with what seems to be a priority in everyone else's life (dating and romantic relationships). I'm not sure if there's anything wrong with wanting a romantic relationship and don't think this necessarily needs to be to the exclusion of other relationships and aspects of life, but I get where your comment is coming from. Out of curiosity, do you lean avoidant?
Doesn’t she seem avoidant to you, Thais? She says she can’t abandon herself because no one else will meet her needs. But isn’t a healthy relationship one where both partners help each other meet their needs? At some point, you have to rely on your partner.
