Yeah, but creators started getting put on more pressure with the lore, its was fun when they weren't really pressured with a bunch of people and with no lore going on, just a normal smp :(

it sort of makes sense. By the end of the dreamsmp it lost a lot of why people watched it. After dream got put in the prison that was kind of the end. Dream lost, tommy and tubbo won, and it could have ended there, and so a lot of people assumed it did and it was done.
i agree it ended there, but when dream escaped it put back in that thrill of ita gain
@@KwikBR it did, but it took a long time for anything after that to happen. The whole plot of Tommy going to the prison made no sense to me. Maybe im misremembering but i don't see why they cant have just nuked it without him being in it. And the idea that after 20 mins the man who believed to be above god would go back to normal seemed a bit strange. Its like when they end a show but keep it going because of its popularity. It very easily could have ended there, and because of that fact, it felt like anything after was an attempt to reboot an already finished series, that already had a finale out to the public and it became predictable with the favor and his breakout.
@@Puggylord316 the reason Tommy had to be in the prison when it blew up was because he needed to make sure both Dream _and_ Punz were there and _stayed_ there long enough, otherwise Punz would just revive Dream or Dream would just revive Punz.
@@areldyperez8446 I did assume that was the reason. But it still feels like a show that ended after the "finale", because sure he planned going to the prison, but it just so easily could have ended after he went into the prison. Because after that point, tubbo and tommy had the discs, dream was trapped. And sure he planned all of that in the end but because that was introduced later, it means that after that stream, you could so easily just never watch another one and it would feel concluded. They made a satisfying ending, that COULD keep going on, but COULD also just stop instantly there, and that is the reason it slowly died. Because it felt like season 4 of a show that had a finale battle in season 3 that righted all wrongs. And had no loose ends meaning the story would have to be, as they say, a whole new season almost since they had no ties to the first part due to it all being tied up.
TLDR: They already had a story with no loose ends, it could have easily been the end, but the popularity meant it kept going. And they added new loose threads to a neatly tied up ball, so it can branch off into a whole new story.
@@Puggylord316 the prison should have been the end of season one, and then season 2 should have been the events leading up to and after dream's return.
As for what actually happened, I'm assuming the reason why the events after dream's escape were so scuffed was because of technoblade as that is the only logical reason i can assume everything went by so slowly as opposed to dream going on a rampage or making some ultimate plan. In fact, the ending was definitely affected by technoblade and there's no idea to know what would have happened (like if technoblade would have fully commited to joining dream etc.). For all we know, the original plan could have been for tommy to confront dream and technoblade which would make more sense on why the nukes would have been needed as a last result.
The DSMP hit its peak when everything was mostly improv, with bits of script for big server events.
ngl agree. the peak of the smp in my opinion was the first war (dsmp vs lmanberg) and it was still pretty good until Wilbur stopped writing the dsmp script and the plot slowly deteriorated from there.
The SMP fell off after dream killed Tommy in prison, that was the end of it tbh
@@vronji I feel like they should have leave the writing to wilbur. I get that collaboration and everyone playing a part in the writing is healthy, but I think wilbur should have kept leading the writing aspect of the story. The latter part of the plot felt scattered

It's a shame that the initial spark of the Dream SMP faded out over time rather than having a neat conclusion all round, but that won't take away from the amazing characters and storylines they were able to make during its run.
Scripted improv was an amazing tool that the DSMP was able to utilize, so I hope we eventually see something similar spring up at some point with unique twists on said formula now that the foundation has been tried and tested. While season 2 is effectively cancelled, I'm looking forward to whatever next fills that void and what exciting new content can come about in the future.

Honestly, anything would have been better than erasing everyone's memories of everything that happened.
I personally kinda knew it would fail. Too many people were leaving. The plot would feel weird? The dsmp lost its hype, after Technos death a lot of viewers left the community. Personally I think it's always better to end a series (especially this big) before all the hype ends. If people want more lore and stories they will be able to create it, however that like - with Techno. A lot of cc from the dsmp are leaving the community anyway.
Tbh...I discored Dream SMP during pandemic, the pandemic was a reason why Dream SMP and Among Us got big. Fuck, Tecno was literally the biggest reason why i and a lot of people would watch. He was not the main dude like tommy or the main antagonist, but he was the funniest, and the most charismatic person. With his death, there not way to continue that. Tecno was the best minecraft player ever, and sadly, nobody will never be able to try to defeat him, not even after training 100 years...R.I.P Tecnoblade.

I agree. The pandemic definitely made a big difference. Even if the hype for season 2 was as much as season 1, I really doubt it'll get as much views because people are busy again.
And yes, rest in peace Technoblade. His passing made it hard for some DSMP members to continue taking part in the story. Probably one of the reasons why other members of the Syndicate didn't join the finale and chose to end things their own quicker way.
Techno was one of my favorite youtubers, but no he’s not the “best” minecraft player, he’s more like top 100-1k

I personally remember how techno said he would revive the dream smp if it started dying and for this and what we saw happen to the dream smp I believe that techno was the only single person who could have died that would have ended the dream smp with the only other main arguments being Tommy and dream himself
techno was the most productive guy on the server.
when he went into chemo and left the server, it had that first small turn-down.
It’s definitely been a wild ride but as they say “Don’t be sad that it’s over, smile because it happened”, and that’s what I’m doing right now. And hey, maybe season 2 will happen. Who knows? The future isn’t set in stone, and crazier things have happened. Overall, I’m glad I was able to be part of this community and enjoy the SMP with you all.

The DreamSMP was a miracle server that only got so successful because of COVID-19. The pandemic was the reason the SMP members had a lot of free time to perform lore. As the pandemic subsided, the frequency of free time died out as well, and the server went as a result.

It just fell apart after the exile arc, people got busy, lore was planed but life got in the way, but what really sealed the fate of the smp was technos passing, where many CCs really could not continue the lore, and write him out when he was a central part of many storylines. It fell apart officially, then, lore became uncomfortable to do. Especially when stories where constantly being reconned and rewritten, (Wilbur, essentially going into his own path, Niki struggling with her writing, Ranboo’s whole last arc, tales, everything).
I’m glad Dream has officially “retired” the smp, it’s time for new and exciting projects to occur, Qsmp looks amazing, Wilbur brought back the player experiments. Don’t be sad it’s over new memories are to be had!

This ride of watching the Dream SMP story was a blast, my only regret is that I didn’t discover it sooner until I saw Technoblade survived his execution. But I’m glad I was able to watch the story unfold to the very end.
Noooo, why... I was always considering the possibility of it never coming back, but i had hopes that some kind of miracle will happen...
Honestly relieved that Dream said their probably isn't a DSMP S2. S1 was amazing, but chances are S2 wouldn't be nearly as great as people are expecting, and members would probably be as inconsistent as before. New SMPs for people who care will be great, and people just need to accept that we won't get those early DSMP vibes again from those creators. Time to move on.

It didn't fail though, it just never started. Season one concluded wonderfully and i still think it is and will always be masterpiece♡
I’m glad to see someone happy with the ending after so many people hated it. I personally it was a perfect ending and they could not have gone through another route. Most importantly, Dream and Tommy talked their feelings out and came to an understanding of one another (something we all wanted for so long!). And with their memories erased, they’ve basically been given another chance at life and they can finally move from the past and just be friends and be happy

As someone who used to watch dream smp all the time, I’m honestly weirdly glad that it isn’t getting a season two and a lot of the creators are moving onto other content that isn’t exclusively minecraft or dream smp. I feel like if they had done a season 2 it would have just gotten repetitive, and I think all of them deserve something new

Kinda makes sence. Honestly, as much as I love it and had so much fun those last 2 and a half years, continuing it is like trying to milk a dead cow. All the creators are doing other cool things, and we are left with amazing memories. The thought isn't even sad, I very much think the whole thing is completed and I'm happy it continued for as long as it did. Going for more just wouldn't be the same. Welp, maybe they'll do something but whatever it is can wait for now. I'll just check out quackity's new smp. Should be fun.
I miss the beginning of Dream SMP, with Dream, George, Sapnap, Alyssa, and Callahan. They just had fun and had no pressure. I’m glad that they aren’t making another one just because of the pressure the lore put on all of them
DSMP lost its spark for me when the story started to split up. I loved when all the lore would end up coming together in one big server event, but recently it seems the lore has become more split up, which could be a reason they found it harder to plan and organise lore.

As someone who was an older teen during the first Dream SMP, after a little while the plot just felt absurdly complicated, not in an intriguing way unfortunately. I would be willing to watch the cool action moments but it became just a ton of subtle hinting without much happening
I agree; The beginning had a cohesive plot with exciting lore and worldbuilding, but it was still easy to follow, and that made it really enjoyable. It kinda got weird after everyone decided to split the story into separate parts for their own characters since they would write independently and cause plotholes everywhere.

the first ever story was written by techno and he knew how to write a good damn story, keeping it simple and fun.

Low key, I kinda had a feeling they wouldn’t go into Season 2. I like how it ends openly, leaving it up in the air what happened to everyone and I feel like that’s kind of the Minecraft way.
Plus, Dream SMP already went through a period where no one was playing, so I figured it was bound to happen when it had a finale.
Well... The dream SMP had a got run. Although a lot of people left after it slowed down, i am happy to say that i was here to the end. I'll miss the dream SMP but it's legacy in the Minecraft Community will defenetly not be forgotten!
Dsmp in its prime is something that was bound to end. I’m excited to see what new things everyone creates tho!

Dream at the start of the SMP didnt like the format for SMP seasons and endings of an SMP which led to the ban of entering the End. And now after alot of story progression and just overall game progression they realized that an ending was inevitable no matter how the story progressed since everyone having full Netherite didnt change the fact that everyone was practically at an even playing field when it comes to progress.
I think if dream smp were to come back i think it wouldnt be as successful as s1 because back then we were all in quarantine and now everyone is now back to their jobs going outside and is in schools its a shame we wont be able to experience this again :/
that's a shame. I wonder what storylines Season 2 would've had. Either way, I look forward to the QSMP even if I wont be able to understand half of it. (I suck at Spanish)
I have an idea what if they instead of doing a memory wipe. they do it were their descendants from their old characters. That way the characters can have a reset, the Lore doesn’t get mess up. And Technoblade would be remembered as an historical figure on the smp

i don’t think it would ever be as good, not just because it wouldn’t be the same but everyone has changed and grown up and everyone is just trying to be how they were. it will never be the same and it won’t ever make us feel the same, it’s sad but nothing lasts forever. the dream smp i loved was the lmanberg and ylyl in lockdown. it was good while it lasted but now it just seems like something nobody even realy wants to do so it won’t be the same and that ok
ngl, when it came to the DSMP, I had mostly watched Niki's POV, mostly because it was relaxing and I could easily relate to her villain arc (no, I do not set things on fire _yet_) and also Hannah because I was already watching her beforehand.
I also watched Techno's because well, he's Technoblade.
But the lore was also confusing, I'd have to find videos that simpiflied any lore so I could understand what was happening
The season 2 would have never been the same it was something fun to watch during lockdown but otherwise it was a masterpiece
What if they DID reset everyone’s memories, but made a statue for Technoblade and left clues of everything that happened before to cause drama, but the whole story will never be revealed

I'm a bit glad it's done and over with. It has been done for *ages* now, and any attempts to revive it just didn't work. The peak of the dsmp was in early 2021, and it never really returned to its former glory. I think it's healthier for minecraft streamers and youtubers to change projects every now and then, or else it gets stagnate. The dsmp's characters were great, but there was a bit too much server history to keep track of. They tried to go for a blank slate, but that wouldn't work either because no one wants to forget a friend. I wish the creators the best, and I hope they find better and brighter projects to work on.
I'm kinda glad they aren't going to do a season 2, if they ever do hopefully they'll have fun. But the same time what everyone has currently planned seems better for everyone at this time.
Honestly, Dream SMP reminded me of Homestuck in a way a a bunch of random ideas and events becoming a story, then those stories gain a big fanbase hoping for a amazing conclusion to what they've been invested (shorter time for DSMP), and ultimately a lot people drop out because they either don't care or lost interest towards the end because how long it took for stories to be planned or wrapped up, and some didn't get their closure or endings.
I dont think there needs to be a second dream smp. the era was great and im glad I got to be a part of it. I formed a friend group during 2020-2022 bc of our interest in the server and we would play everyday during covid making up our own smp with our own characters and lores and it was so much fun. I miss it so bad sometimes I wanna try and start it again but ill just have to appreciate the good memories. Most of the characters have finished their lore and it should end there. No need to try and push it further even though id love more. It wouldn't be the same.
I will admit, I was expecting this, but I'm also kind of annoyed about one thing. *The Egg*. I mean, I know everyone lost their memories, but in the egg finale, Skeppy was still helping the egg, Puffy gets taken over completely, a bunch of players lost canon lives (the most since the massacre in the Final Control Room) and the egg has been implied to hatch.
So... we're just going to leave Puffy brainwashed forever? Well, that's unfortunate. But I should be used to it. Every show I watch, a season finale will end on a complete cliffhanger and then six months later, the producers will tell us that the show is cancelled, which means the grand finale was a fricking cliffhanger.
I think that's why I'm so upset about this. Every single show/comic/whatever I've gotten into over the past decade has been screwed over by the executives in some way or another, whether by being prematurely cancelled, or by being forced to be part of an expanded universe that then dictated the course of the series from there on. I was excited for something like the DSMP, which was creator owned. I thought that surely the creators would care about their creation and their fans enough to not pull the same crap that every studio executive seems to.
And well . . . that was a mistake.

They should have the DSMP as a public server so anyone can join and just look around the map. No building, no 1 V 1s, just a nice place to look at the memories.
it was something that only ever could have existed in the exact time it existed. you cant easily get tons of streamers to postpone all their other in-person projects and real life activities in order to roleplay in minecraft for hours and hours, and you cant get so many people not only viewing it all live but also making mountains of fan-created art, songs, writing and theories. it kinda requires something to force most or the world to stay at home at their computers all day every day, you know, like a pandemic related lockdown. the circumstances that allowed the dsmp to thrive in the first place are gone now, creators would much rather do other shit now that theyre able, and fans are at school or work or going to concerts and conventions or sporting events etc and just cant always catch a livestream. its a product of that specific era and it rlly should just be remembered as a very special and unique thing that made 2020 a little bit less miserable. it does not need a part 2.
Man I will really miss it, I really hope some of the Smp’s do a similar plot to the Lmanberg plot and a way to honor Techno
I never thought S2 would work or was needed but I do find it quite funny that all the other DSMP members have said they are ready for it for months but Dream wouldn’t respond to any messages. S2 had a date set and everything but Dream wouldn’t communicate with anyone and now he just says on a stream that S2 isn’t happening. Tubbo, Tommy etc always talked about S2 on streams and how excited they were for it but that excitement dimmed over time and they revealed Dream was essentially ignoring them in discord so saying people lost motivation but it was not his fault is just not true.
Techno was the person who inspired me to play Minecraft i used to watch is old Minecraft high pixel games and stream, techno and Tommy were the only reason i watched the dream smp.
When i heard the news of techno passing away i felt a hard bump on my chest and now that he is gone,even if there will be season 2 i don't think i'll be able to watch it.
Dream smp wasn't just a game,script,or a normal Minecraft smp it was a memory,a memory we all made together and no matter how stupid,sad or funny it was we shall all cherish it.
Technoblade Never Dies❤
I met some folks that are massive fans of the Spanish streamers and the Karmaland series and we watched the recent Squidcraft games together and it was really good.
You may want to look into it as we will likely be seeing a lot of them on the QSMP along with some of the DSMP folks
I have an idea since niki and Phil went into the end they could come back with there memorys and remind everyone and they would get there memorys back
I came up with a theory about the DSMP Finale so dark that I would prefer to erase the series from all memory than let it end like this.
Trigger warning: invalidated Aesop, revealing Dream and Punz as f-ing *heroes*, showing that everyone failed, eternal darkness, etc
Now that the series is done and the afterlife wasn’t fixed… it’s confirmed that the only people to not suffer eternal torment at the hands of death are her lover and some of his friends -with the possible exception of Technoblade because he’s from “somewhere else” and Wilbur because he left- which shows just how disgusting she is. When Tommy gave his speech to Dream and Punz about impermanence he was wrong. The only “ending” that comes from dying in that land is the status of not suffering eternal torment… and that invalidates every lesson about death being inevitable. When the arrogant Sisyphus suffered eternal torment for cheating death several times he made things worse for himself. But Dream and Punz lived in a world where the dead suffer eternal torment NO MATTER WHAT! This combined with Tommy, Tubbo, and Jack blowing everyone up makes me think the Dream SMP finale was inspired by SCP-5000… a world in which OMNICIDE WAS A GOOD IDEA! Both pragmatically and **morally**. Even if their chances of uprooting the world’s order were next to nothing they were willing to become absolute monsters for the slightest chance to save everyone from their disguising fate.
Tl;DR: Death in the Dream SMP makes Satan look like Hades or Osiris… completely fair without a hint of good or evil.
Thank you for all the updates and analysis videos Kian, for literally years now. It's been such a fun journey. A little part of me hopes that dsmp comes back some day, or that we get callbacks in future smps or something, but regardless I'm excited to see what comes next. It's been one hell of a ride.
More than anything I just feel bad for Eret and Hannah... I really hope they get SOME kind of ending for their stories.
There it is.. Dream SMP season 1 is going to bring so much nostalgic over the months, years or even now, known to be one of the most popular UA-cam SMP's out there would certainly be hard to not fall apart, I feel like DreamSMP has reached the end, which is really hard to think because you have just been watching this UA-camrs SMP for 2-3 years now everyone played a part, and ended their parts. The most nostalgic thing about the DreamSMP was the storyline, being competitive and action pack for every war they planned, and watch the fatality of multiple lores happening in 1 server. The most nostalgic thing I liked about the DreamSMP was at the end, after the complete fall of 'Manburg and the egg, everyone separated each other, each having there own thing to do in the server. In my own words I think the DreamSMP was one of the best UA-camrsSMP ever created and its storyline is so creative that it might as well be made into a movie, fair well DreamSMP
its upsetting that dsmp season 2 most likely wont happen but if they were to happen one thing thatd be cool is that theyd make techno a legend that they all believe in so that they wouldnt have to forget him but if they dont then thats completely fine and understandable xx

It's so baffling to me that they go to the two Twitch cons, host dsmp panels, see first hand just how many people showed up for them, and then are like, "oh well, who cares? let's unwrite the story then let it die."
I miss the days when everyone was talking about the Dream SMP, before Tommyinnit got a girlfriend, before Dream face revealed, when Technoblade was alive.
it was sort of expected at this point, and i’m glad i can still enjoy my favorite streamers, but it will still leave a hole in my heart knowing the dream smp energy will never be seen again if this makes sense. i will miss the places, the silly lore, the emotions, the interactions. lately i have been really busy and can’t even watch much of other streaming content, but when i do i know it doesn’t feel like the dsmp days did. in the back of my mind, I refuse to let my dream smp era go, the death of the smp was so slow, and the second season gave me hope. but i guess that’s how life goes, good things pass and new good things show up. thanks for contributing to the community. rip technoblade
I don’t think they should make dsmp season 2 but I think they should do streams where you can mess around and have fun with your friends to bring back the og feeling
Do you think the other DSMP members who haven't had finales to their stories yet are going to make a video wrapping up their DreamSMP characters or, at the very least, imply they'll appear as their DreamSMP characters in other SMPs like Niki had in the Bear SMP?
im really tired of having UA-camrs go back on there word with not committing on something that they have started and said that it will come I do respect a lot of the deciosn they have said escpicacly for techno r.i.p but like its just so frustrating
I don’t think it should have a story, I think they should just play on it like a normal server. Lore and the storyline will come along as they play more and more. I think it should be like how it originated where it was just peaceful and playing Minecraft.
Other dream smp members making their own servers and completely starting is good imo.
I personally like the dsmp end. Even tho their memories was wiped, it’s a good end. We know that the dsmp member didn’t ACTUALLY forget the server, it’s just a story and it’s a good story.
I hope the original DSMP gets turned into just a regular server they hang out on
I’m okay with this. Everyone grew up, including the players. The players are all too busy with the success of “Season 1”. It’s a good thing.
Or, more cynically, they got really rich and famous off of a property, then dumped the fans of the property who got them there in the first place after stringing them along for a year and a half with promises of "things are about to get really good really soon."
truly the end of an era :'). but I think this is also a good thing, it opens up so many new opportunities for CCs. Plus I think it was about time the smp ended anyway, all good things have to end eventually - I think if it went on any longer itd just lose its spark, especially without Techno
The Dream SMP just got it's own Mianite season 3 moment.
But in all seriousness, I loved the Dream SMP during the pandemic (2020ish-early 2022). The last Dream SMP stream I really watched was the prison break. I was finally doing stuff at college and moving on and Techno's death kind of solidified that for me to be honest. Techno brought something to the SMP that I can't explain, maybe it was the chaos or just his personality, but without him the server just felt like it lost it's spark. I miss when the server was unscripted, since it became more scripted it felt less genuine and more forced. Dream SMP and Techno will always hold a special place in my heart right next to the Mianite series and Yandere High school. The Dream SMP created life long friends, if the Dream SMP ever does come back I wish them luck, but I probably wouldn't watch it. I'll always watch the creators themselves and I'll always be thankful for what the DreamSMP did for me, but for now, I'm moving on to other things.

here's an idea for season 2. every does lose their memory but eventually regain their memories over time.
My idea for season 2 in dream smp is the reset only effects people that is alive and people that hasn't played in the smp for a long while so like ranboo/ Ghostboo (I think) and wilbur/ghostbur and technoblade is like out of reality.
Also for the people who wanna see more stories... Check out Empires SMP! There is so much lore in there!

I never thought there'd be a season two after the finale, I think the cliffhanger(?) is the perfect ending.
I just generally enjoy open endings, and it already implies how it would've gone, it's perfect as is. I hope they don't continue it tbh
Also, I heard that eventually it ended up just stressful for some of them, so now they don't have to deal with that. So as a story and for the sake of the creators, it's already perfect

I liked the DSMP Manhunts. Those core characters were fun and no one else really has the energy to compete. And really, how do you up your game after you strand your pursuers on the Nether Roof just to get rid of their OP armor? I wasn't into the story-line, but I also think with the death of Technoblade (my favorite!) the heart of that SMP was ripped out. I'm not sure they can recover from that and it seems they don't want to either. I wish them luck, regardless.
Manhunt and dsmp are two separate things tho

They should not do a second season they just lost a great friend I think not doing it will make them a bit better because losing someone that you know is really hard to deal with sometimes but they will be happy and doing something else they want as friends is good.
He could of done it where Techno Moved or something else so they still remember techno as a good friend
the end of 2020/early 2021 will forever be the golden age of that story and it would be awesome if it would be remembered as such. it’s so iconic
Even though the DreamSMP is over, I’m glad it’s over, if it kept going we wouldn’t have anything we have today, I for one am excited for the up coming future, and ready to let go of the dream smp to a wider range of content, I’m excited!
I feel like they lost the point of the SMP. It was founded on a semi-lore sort of foundation that wasn't about fully scripting or improvising lore, but rather the lore that comes out of just hanging out with friends.
I 100% disagree. I, personally, would LOVE to see a season 2 even if it sucked bc I wasn’t really a dream smp fan until AFTER it all happened

I'm really glad it failed IMO, when I heard about what the story was going to be, and the memories being wiped, all I could think about was Techno. Not only was all of his things destroyed in the reset, he would've been forgotten. I'm glad Phil decided against it, I think that was the right thing to do. I've also felt very against a reset in the first place, a season 2 would not be as good or be able to live up to it all. This is because the original story wasn't scripted, and it came from just friends playing together. The story arc started because of a disc war with Tommy and Dream, and things were super improvised, while others were scripted. I don't think a season 2 could ever emulate the amazing storytelling and improvisation that the DSMP has. DSMP had a story to be built upon that was created by a real, albeit comedic, conflict that was built upon. No amount of preparing would be able to get that again, it's better that DSMP ends.
One of the MAIN reasons Dream SMP got popular and more people watched was becoz of COVID and everyone were at home now that creators spend time outside mostly nowadays season 2 is nearly impossible

If I'm being honest I'd rather them just go back to when they just stayed on the SMP late at night just talking and laughing. and the whole dtqk always raided each other after steaming so we had 15+ hours of content.. :')
dream said in his stream that a lot of people lost motivation on the dsmp because of technoblade's death. techno's the heart of the smp; without him, it just feels dead. that's probably why they won't make a season 2 :")
i respect their decision though, grief manifests itself in different ways.
Honestly, given a lot of the players for the SMP pretty much kept either procrastinating actually getting on the SMP, were busy, irl hit or couldn't be arsed to get on because lol lazy at times, I think everyone near the end could tell Dream SMP was likely done for once the finale hit. And Technoblade passing was basically the final straw that ensured it was likely never going to come back as-is.
I'm sure there'll be other SMPs to enjoy in time assuming Minecraft doesn't hit another period of being left forgotten or seen as "cring game for babbies and not cool anymore" like it was before. But for Dream SMP, I think the finale is probably where it ends and is likely as good an end as it'll likely get.
I think they should do like a new series superset from Dream SMP stuff so they aren’t just forgetting Techno. Maybe they could implement some plot lines that was going to be in Season 2.

You wanna try out other smps too? Like do a few theory videoes for fun? Like from the empires smp, the life series witchcraft is new and yes Qsmp too. Just a thought for future content ideas ok.
On top of that, a lot of content creators in the smp didn't feel heard during the existence of the server. They gave ideas but they were all ignored, which is the reason why* a lot of people couldn't make it into the "main" storyline. Also a reason why Techno tried to include as many other creators he could.

True. Lot of members who were sidelined were given a chance due to Techno like Foolish, Puffy, Niki. Originally it was just his close friends that were given a chance. makes sense that it ended.
I stopped watching dsmp a lot less by the time the Egg arc and completely stopped when Quackity made his country, and even if a season 2 comes out I really don't want to watch it, with out Techno it just wouldn't be the same
I really hope that they do make a new dream amp, I would love that the start isn’t scripted and that the next big villain would actually be evil and not just miss understood . Also I hope they add stuff like mini games and those stuff so the players of the dream smp don’t get board, as thats what happened.
I think it would be cool if dream smp like made techno a god, like a god of war that abolished government and got involved in mortal life. So He’s basically a god that died a hero in mortal world too and someone’s basically trying to avenge him by taking down government and following in technos footsteps
I liked the storylines and such but my favorite memories of the dream smp was when they were simply just all playing and having fun without any scripts and such
Just make him do a server where everyone just plays Minecraft together no story, no drama, just them playing Minecraft having fun. Kinda like hermitcraft
Basically S2 will never blow up because of the impact Techno had in the DSMP and they couldnt find a way to make the story work and didnt like he idea of just having everyones memory erased.
