the way that the beam storage for the bootleg left arm is molded is so that you can modify it to have a detachable beam saber using the extra beam saber handle part included in the fin funnel runner, pretty clever of modong there
I had this Morong yesterday and 95% are too tight fit, but I like that cuz I can sand them. I really don't like loose parts so too many too tight parts is good to me. And yeah. Buying this kind of kit is better for me than Bandai.
Modong and TT are completely different brands. TT comes with EG style boxart as Bandai while modong comes with HG style box. Most of the Modong kits experience incomplete mould error on left hand fists.
I add myself a bootleg EG with HG fin funnels Just to give fin funnels to the Bandai EG. Mould on the bootleg Is not that great but It was cheap way to complete the Bandai EG
the only thing that align on the bootleg Nu showed here and on mine is the V-Fin and the yellow vents on the legs. Else, mine didn't have bad molds and the like. Zero tightening and zero drilling too. Bootlegs truly is the RNG paradise of builds haha.

Are they compatible with each other? I might purchase the bootleg for the wing funnels and leg replacement since my banda one has loosened up
Bootleg Fin/wing funnel is compatible with bandai no modifications needed , leg connector can be also used but you need to loosen it abit .
Other reviews on the bootleg, one of the hands had a diffect where it has in plastic, why does this have the whole one? Man hope i get lucky
they didn't have a quality control for their product , you may contact the shop if they can replace that hands
