    Looking good Paul, my one is about twice the size and it is completely covered as well. They might grow a bit bigger in the subtopics. They do need a bit of water at fruit set to hold them all.

    I must check out this variety.even my illionis everbearing is fetting to big for containers

      @@lyonheart84 I did notice when I was putting in the concrete adjacent to the mulberry that the root system did spread far and wide so that makes sense mate.

    Great fruit set. I find they hold more and more each year. Mine is looking very similar atm too. Great little tree.

      I did notice that the first year the fruit was average, then the second year it was great so this year I can't wait to try them.

    How do you keep your tree so short, but still have great fruit set?

      @@joestropicals6760 gday Joe, I haven't pruned or trimmed that tree at all, that is just the shape its taken on by itself.

    Amazing tree. I absolutely love red shahtoot. mine is much smaller but the fruit is amazing!

      @@TemperateTropicalDownUnder they are sensational. Last year I packed a bucket for a road trip and ate them on the way instead of the usual man made treats

      @@UrbanBounty haha yeah that sounds about right. I can’t get enough of them. I have 4 different varieties of mulberry and I love them all but red shahtoot is my favourite

      All young trees except my dwarf black it’s around 6 years.
      Been in a pot its whole life.

      @@matthewspatch9529 Gday mate. The fruit is delicious and seems to get longer every year.
      The first seasons fruit was average, I think its one of those trees that needs a few seasons to reach its full flavour.

    I think this terrible wind we are getting has helped pollination - Mines about 8yo in pot but needs alot of heat for full fruit fill and ripeness usually on the second flowering in Summer. I wish I had a ground spot 🤔

      @@UrbanBounty We should do that get together when it's a bit warmer lol 🌴 I did my last apple grafts yesterday 2 mini lunchbox apples onto the golden delicious now about 8 extra varieties

      I have tried to graft the red apple from Neil onto a golden delicious, it already has a successful pink lady graft
