I looked up Mitski after I saw them being compared quite often but I'm underwhelmed so far. Maybe I listened to the wrong tracks though. What album/songs by Mitski can you recommend that are similar to Squirrel Flower?
I could swear that's a tele on track 2? Whatever she is playing, the guitar tone is brilliant ;) I love her voice, the melodies & harmonies along with the rhythm and flow in the beauty of her lyrics; it all blends so well with her guitar and the rest of the band. Each song is so appropriate! She is not just a poet or songwriter/singer but she delicately brings forth the most comforting and warm vibrations from her guitar. The singing, yes it's great but sometimes the music is my favorite. She is so good. The more adjectives I use and as much as I yearn to convey how good she is simply MUST be heard and experienced to understand. I LOVE THIS!!
