When installing the new prop, the back prop should be in the reverse gear and the 2nd prop which would be the prop on top of the 1st prop needs to be in drive correct??

To remove the prop cone and rear prop, place in forward. To tighten the rear prop and prop cone, place in reverse. To remove and replace the forward propeller, the gears are opposite, I.e. reverse to remove the collar nut, and forward to tighten. 0:37, 3:04, 4:29

I have never had problems with fishing line wrapping around the propeller shaft with these line cutters installed, but have also been careful not to foul my trolling lines. They came as original equipment on the boat. You should contact your local Volvo Penta dealer for help in finding the right part.
