It was a really smooth ride also. I believe this was my first experience with hydraulic lap bars on a wooden coaster, at least the well known Intamin ones like found on Millennium Force.
This looks like an awesome family wooden coaster! Aweesome video Sean!! Even tho this is a family coaster I am still amazed with your stability with the camera!!
Another gem from the number one coaster series on the net 'Coasting in Japan' . This is how it all began for me Sean. I have been hooked and enjoying your channel ever since. If I remember right you guys rode Elf in and around part 14. I remember Matt pointing out the staircase/bridge that went no where. Such an incredible series. I already watched it twice from start to finish. I think I am going to make a point to enjoy it all over again soon. It is the perfect quarantine series. Excellent flashback Sean. Fantastic~ Rob/Boston
Rob, Wow! You are correct. We left this park to head to our final park, Expoland. What's crazy about the old Japan series is I actually recorded fifteen hours of footage. Back when I originally made those videos, UA-cam would only allow videos to be fifteen minutes max. I took fifteen minutes out of each hour I recorded then uploaded it. I have the complete un-edited fifteen hours on fifteen DVDs, complete with Easter eggs and a commentary track. I haven't watched the full version of that stuff in years. I need to revisit.
These little Intamin wooden family coasters have some actually decent airtime
Especially for a family coaster
Yea, this ride surprised us. It was defiantly a front seat ride .The back rows felt a lot more tame.
That is a deceptively long junior wooden coaster. Intamin did a good job with this one.

Ha ha. Thanks! This was an easy coaster to record as it was very smooth.

Woah I forgot Intamin made woodies that aren't prefabs
They sure did. I have ridden a few of them. This one was the smoothest.
American Eagle at SFGAm offers a great ride with amazing airtime even though it can be rough at times! Only other Intamin woodie I can think of!
@@Joypyf There's a couple more in Japan, Aska and Regina
@@koalakyle19 RIP Regina 😔
It’s like if Roar-O-Saurus and Cyclone had a baby
Yea, it does kind of look that way. I think it's only one of two wooden coasters left in Japan, currently.
riiiiiing!
Sean Flaharty, what’s your favorite color?
Black.
You sit on a throne of lies! Wait, wrong Elf
Do Golden Zephyr Disney California Adventure Please
I didn't record that ride. Only rides I recorded were California Screamin' and Mulholland Madness.
Sean Flaharty Ok
Nice! I don’t have this credit. How far was Hirakata Park from Shin-Osaka station??
I don't think it was very far from the station. Maybe a ten minute walk or something if I remember.
