We hold our family reunions at the pavilion where you launched your kayak. I grew up on this lake down by the sub division in the 70s. Love coming back
I’ve only fished Thomas once but plan to get to it a few more times. Lawtonka and Ellsworth are some of my favorites. There is actually a tourney out there this summer I plan on getting into. Kayaks are a absolute blast to fish out of.
@@J.BruckerFishing my financing fell through. But will talk to him again this weekend. Looking to get a pa14 just cause I’m a big guy. Will need to get a small trailer to haul behind the Kia soul. We don’t bassfish much. But I gotta beat my PB smallmouth in lawtonka this year. I think the yak may be the only way.
I started with the smaller cheaper models at academy and just sold and swapped until I found the one I wanted which was this Titan. I bought used off of a guy in OKC and couldn’t be happier with it.
@@J.BruckerFishing my only problem is I’m a big guy. None of them I found out there would really hold me too well. And I’m not 100% about pedal (bicycle style) with my knees. Thinking the pushing flutter drives would be better for me.
Love Ellsworth Lake. Caught my PB 22.75 out there! Same pattern too!!
That’s a tank! Yeah I really want to explore the other side of the lake I just haven’t had a chance yet
Met you with my buddy Austin down at Ellsworth last week , great guy , hope the fishing was better then ours lol
It was good meeting and talking with yall! It was rough! Only landed 1 fish and missed 2. That wind was horrible
I just moved next to this lake, haven't tried it yet!! very hopeful!!
Thanks! The Ralphs Resort area is a very good area of the lake. The dam area as well
Awesome! lake, one of my honey holes. Nice video
Thank you! I’ll definitely be back and hopefully be able to check out more of the lake.
That Frittside is catching everything ha!
Its quickly becoming my new favorite crankbait. Its real close between it and the Strike King Chick Magnet
Love the excitement, awesome video. Thanks for sharing! What setup do you throw the crankbait on?
Thank you! I am using a 7’ med action diawa laguna rod on a Lews 7.1 reel

It’s definitely a great Lake! I’m wanting to fish more of it now that our tournaments are coming to a end and I’ll have more time.
Looks like I'll have to head back to the same spots I fished a month ago with no luck. Great video! We have to get out together some time soon.
Definitely!
Solid day on the lake, well done. check out our video of ellsworth early this year.
Thank you! Will do! This lake is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.
I live in Lawton. And dad lives in Elgin. Ellsworth and lawtonka are our go to spots. Elmer Thomas is good for bass too. I’m trying to get a kayak.
