This might be the most realistic outcome of a reunion, raditz was a conflicted first Villain, nothing compared to what goku had to deal with next later on, so it's natural his mind would spiral by how far goku has come, he's not even mad that he buzzed him off quickly, he's just reevaluating the reality that unfolded around him, decades in hell stuck in the same state never changing, and seeing an actual change can drive a person's mind into disbelief and denial.
Compared to other saiyains radiz very much so values his life, he's very cautious most of the time. That's probably why he was much weaker than Vegeta and nappa he had the same potential as goku

Many say this is Goku being rather cold but it's really more a combination of factors. 1. He's got more pressing matters 2. SSJ4 brings out the more primal parts of person 3. He doesn't much care for Raditz. He said as much when he kidnapped Gohan that Goku could never have a brother as heartless as Raditz and renounced his Saiyan heritage. So the fact he tells him "Leave, cause no trouble and you'll get to live this time" is about as good an outcome as he could realistically expect to get.
Leaves the question if Super Goku would be more willing to hear Raditz out. He's more in touch with his Saiyan heritage but never "taps into" it very much, it's just memories in Super. I get SS4 Goku not considering it since he's more vulgar in that form but given how the Granolah Arc put emphasis on Goku's family I wonder if Raditz will ever get a second chance

Especually given Raditz abused their relationship before, trying to appeal to his better nature only to use that to get the advantage in their fight. After something like that you really can't use the family card or expect any sympathy.
It’s not just the fact that Goku pretty much disowns him as family in their first encounter, it’s also the fact that SSJ4 does slightly change his attitude which makes him cold but badass to begin with

I don't think we truly realize and understand how much Goku's presence mentally ruined Raditz. In just one brief encounter, barely even a minute, Goku destroyed any and all perceptions the saiyan might have had and held on to. The last time Raditz saw his brother, Goku needed a partner just to take him on, and even then they barely had the strength to survive, let alone match him. Now, here his brother stands with power that not only eclipses Frieza (Which in itself is already unfathomable) but now attained a form that transcends anything a saiyan (In Raditz's mind at least) could ever hope to possibly achieve. To say that Raditz is barely a drop in the ocean that is Goku's new strength, would be the understatement of the century.
Loved how Goku, who suffered a lot because of Raditz, became so strong that Raditz meant NOTHING to him anymore, deciding to completely ignore him and face the much bigger threat ahead. Savage!
Whether it's because of Super Saiyan 4 turning instinctively more serious or it's from his memories with him, it's fascinating to see Goku be so cold to Raditz. Shows how personal and hurtful he took their encounter.

I love that despite how cold Goku is to Raditz, and how cocky Vegeta is to Nappa... they're both given the option to leave in peace. It really shows Vegeta's character growth on his end and shows how even with the situation so serious and Goku (rightfully) barely acknowledging Raditz yet is still kind enough to tell him to leave. Both of them are willing to let the two Saiyans live out their days as long as they don't bother anyone else.
It's kind of funny that this is about as good an ending as he could possibly have gotten in this scenario. Now he has a second chance at life, maybe he can make something for himself in the depths of space, unlike Nappa who got himself killed right away. That might be the scenario on this channel with the largest discrepancy between the "combatants". We've had complete stomps before (Frieza vs GT Goku, for example), but this Raditz is presumably the same level as he was in life while this Goku, according to the scaling vids, is on the level of higher tier ToP fighters. Good thing he didn't try to catch smoke this time. Really hoping that if a second update is ever made for the rankings, the What-Elses are featured. It'd be fun to see where the likes of the Meta-Coolers at different points, Xeno Trunks and Turles scale.
I agree, I really want this stuff to be added to future power scaling videos, but I have to wonder how likely that is, given that he's pumping these out so fast that by the time we would likely get a new video, what-else stories alone will have added dozens of characters needing to be ranked.

Not presumably, he was the same level. It was obvious in how GT handled nappa, frieza, and cell. Goku literally lost to cell, and yet effortless dealt with him not only as ssj1 but as a child, which also canonically weakened the power his body could hold and produce, while against his hell form AND friezas hell form because it was (canonical to gt at least) canonical that someone in hell cant raise their power level because they are dead. Which means frieza is still the beginning of android saga in power and cell is still at the end of cell saga ssj2 in power. That's the whole reason ssj4 brought him back into adult form, it put his body back in its prime in order to handle the power output of ssj4 which, in non Canon and Canon material alike, is NOT his kid body. I believe he even states during gt that being in asj3 is harder on him simply from being in a child's body and not any other factor in gt. Meanwhile in the short you mentioned, it took from dbs Canon where you could grow stronger in hell, and that's why golden frieza wiped the floor with gt goku whilst gt frieza didn't even have another form for him let alone matched a saiyan who has reached ssj4 levels of power

Imagine you're revived from the dead only to find not only you are forgiven but that your brother whom you once helped kill spares you and unlocked an unknown near god like transformation that makes him millions of times stronger than you. To top it all off, he doesn't even want to see you. You're so insignificant he says two sentences to you and disappears into thin air from what appears to be magic. You're left stunned, unable to grasp the situation.
Only realistic outcome really. Tragic end for a Low-Class Saiyan warrior who was ruthless to his own brother. Deserved but hopefully in this what-if scenario, he learns.
Seeing Goku like that and being told flatly to leave or die could start a whole redemption arc for Raditz, being he knows if he fucks around, he’ll find out all too soon
I can actually see this going that way. Goku has no love or interest in raditz plus his family and the world are in danger so he will just give him the cold shoulder.
What else idea: A different fusion? In this scenario, Shin's earrings fell off after his fight with Majin Buu. When Trunks went to get the radar for search for the Dragon Balls, he decided to go to the place where his father was last seen, hoping that he could find Vegeta, even if it was impossible. Though, he noticed two shiny things on the floor: earrings. He doesn't know who they belong to but he decides to take them. Back in the time chamber, Trunks show the earrings to Goten, who didn't know what they are for. Trunks then, shows him by putting on his ear and comments that some cool teenages uses them. Goten decides to put but Trunks states that since they both were going to fuse, Goten should put in an opposite ear so once they become one, they will have earrings on both ears. Goten agrees and put on an ear that is the opposite of the one Trunks placed on himself and suddenly, something happens. An immense force attracts themselves to each other and the next result, is an individual with an immense amount of ki, principally because this fusion didn't required Trunks to lower his ki for match Goten's. Once Piccolo arrives in the Time Chamber with Buu, he gets surprised in the moment he steps inside, as he felt a great ki emanating from the place. It could only belong to the boys since they were the only ones inside, he thought. But this ki was much bigger and stronger. Buu, however, was excited once his eyes met with a certain individual, who was now the fusion of Trunks and Goten through the potara.
Loved everything here except the rival boost part that doesn't fit trunks and goten very well. Considering they are the best of friends while Vegeta and Goku were more like rivals for sure. Idea is fantastic though just a nitpick I have that's all.
Kidnapped his child, gokus in ssj4 so he's naturally prone to more aggressive primal feelings inside, wanted Goku to kill people on earth it's understandable but the shocking part is seeing what Vegeta did radiz is literally a softy so radiz is much more inclined to change. After all bardock and gine probably scolded radiz in hell alot
I got a feeling this is gonna be an interesting storyline as Raditz is gonna reflect on things and probably confront Kakarot at a later point. Although, assuming Raditz doesn’t get sent to hell again, there is the Shadow Dragons that occur right after this arc.

My head canon is, in this what if, right before Vegeta can blast of Nappa Goku teleport to him making vegetarian drop the ki. Seeing Goku make Nappa also question reality, this alone make Vegeta lost interest in finishing off Nappa. Then the scene end with Goku and Vegeta fly off to catch Gero and gang while Nappa left puzzle.
This is a peak interaction but it barely comes close to that one comic where Goku goes to hell and Raditz, who unlocked SSJ at some point, gets *immediately* humbled when Goku's like 'Oh, that? Yeah that was like three seasons ago. Good job!' 😔
Small thing but i love how much the tone and atmosphere of the “What else” episodes is dictated by the bgm. In this case it works perfectly for both Goku and Raditz. Goku understands the situation is extremely serious and cannot afford to play around in the slightest, which also sets the tension on Raditz's side; not even a word of acknowledgement that his brother is once again standing before him. Just a cold simple warning and then leaves. Not paying him anymore attention than he has already. Which of course leaves Raditz by himself to question everything.
If this happened in GT, it would make sense considering that Raditz was briefly seen in GT from far away while everyone was escaping Hell. Unlike Nappa who was dumb enough to get himself killed.
I have some suggestions for this series, what else: 1) If Dr.Gero had turned Raditz into an android. 2) Zamasu changes bodies with Hit. 3) The Shadow Dragons are born from the Black Star Dragon Ball.
The third option is neat, but i think it would be interesting too if made a Super Dragon Balls shadow dragons like if gods like zamasu or any other misused for greedy or selfish wishes over it and the super dragon balls starts to get cracked and corrupted generating shadows dragon with god ki level threat.

I like to think woth more time - Raditiz could have turned out to be alright - or even a good guy. Also, what if the Kais gave Android 17 and 18 the potara ear rings during the ToP? Would Andriod 35 win the ToP?
I don't want to come off as mean or say this wasn't good, the idea to meet Raditz again was a good one. I just wish there was more to the conversation or somehow had Raditz involved in some way in the What Else. This one just felt like a passing thought, like a blink and you miss it moment. IT was just Raditz seeing Goku and then Goku leaves, no development, no real interaction, nothing. With Nappa and Raditz in this, I expected them to transform or something and it cuts out with the idea of them fighting Goku and Vegeta.
Does this mean Raditz is going to go on a training arc? It definitely seems to be foreshadowing that. But I don't know how long it'll take him to even reach super saiyan, maybe the realization of how far apart they are might make him angry enough to become a super saiyan?
Another absolutely fantastic video! I’d love to see a what-else centered around your own What Ifs sometime too; one idea is based on your battle between Vegeta versus Batman and Green Lantern. Lantern rings have been shown to fuse people before hand much like the potara, so would Vegeta have stood a chance against a Bruce Wayne/Hal Jordan fusion?
I’m not sure how often you read comments or if you’ll even see mine but is it possible that we could see a “what if kid Gohan turned super Saiyan?” I could think of a few possible scenarios where he does. 1. On Earth, after Piccolo is killed from protecting Gohan from Nappa’s attack. 2. On Namek, when Gohan, Krillin and Vegeta are fighting against the Ginyu force, before Recoome snaps his neck. Recoome attacks Krillin but instead of just getting badly injured, this time it jills him and Gohan transforms. 3. On Namek, after Krillin gets impaled by Frieza. Instead of just getting a rage boost and mildly hurting Frieza, once again maybe this time Dende is already dead or Frieza just happens to pierce Krillin’s heart and kills him causing Gohan to transform. 4. On Namek (again lol) maybe this time after Piccolo comes back after absorbing Nail, he begins to win against Frieza but once he transforms Frieza is stronger than him again. Well, this time 3rd form Frieza kills Piccolo and Gohan transforms. 5. Last one on Namek but after Goku throws the spirit bomb at Frieza and it’s revealed he’s still alive he just instantly kills Goku with a death beam and possibly even kills Piccolo and Krillin. There are a lot of possible scenarios where Gohan could’ve transformed on Namek lol and I know Gohan being a super saiyan wouldn’t make him stronger than probably 2nd, maybe 3rd form Frieza around the time of his last zenkai after being healed by Dende after Krillin was impaled but hey, I just figured it’d be interesting and with your creativity I know you could make it better than what I came up with lol 🙏🏾
and its SSJ4, imagine if Raditz finds out that Goku can become a God.. He'll probably have the same feeling that Future Trunks had when he sparred Vegeta

I always found the different ways GT and Super Goku act fascinating. I like both and really shows how different Toei and Toriyama interpreted Goku, and I'm curious to see how GT Goku will handle this.
No. This is a what if from a gt episode when all the villains where let loose from hell. The Nappa and vegeta scenario in this vid plays out like in the show but the raditz and goku one do not. The ssj4 goku vs golden frieza what if was also based on a gt episode, but in the actual ep, frieza and cell get blown over by base gt goku like its nothing. Alot of his other vids are also based on an actual episodes with different scenarios witch is obvious since it's a what if channel lol but it's cool to find the original episode and see where hyourinjutsu twisted it.

Honestly I can see this happening in the circumstances they were in. Goku had far bigger things to worry about rather than Raditz's spiraling mind, along with that in comparison to a lot of hisold foes who came from hell Raditz is quite literally a tutorial boss that introduced Goku to the wider universe, it would barely require any effort heck all Goku would have to do is flex his ki a bit and Raditz would be killed so in comparisn to Super 17 and being tricked by Frieza and Cell Goku had bigger things to worry about.
Need a pt 2 to this where raditz just watches goku fight with 17 from the side or goes of to train and comes back something Cause damn ive seen people made good what if raditz comes back this was somber goku flat out tells him to fuck off or else
What Else Idea: “What if Cell went Super Saiyan God against SSJ2 Gohan?”. He could do the ritual with the Cell Jrs. Edit: my logic is they’re all pure of heart, but “pure-evil” Saiyans. I thought maybe the ritual could still work except it would be a dark mirror to the normal ritual.

This is so appropriately anticlimactic. While Goku had more important things to worry about, Raditz and Goku’s relationship was still entirely dependent on Raditz being so much stronger. Now that he’s not a real threat, he is nothing to anyone.
Logically that should've been the route zamasu took, seeing broly has the most potential out of basically all the sayains and gave a harder time for goku, who humbled zamasu, if he took in to account that if Lssj Z broly could hold of a famly of super sayains back in Z then a couple of zenkais would bring broly black back up to super timeline speed in no time.
Short but sweet, if this leads any further i can only hope that it leads somewhere less intense or with a not dark ending after the intensity of the Cooler Saga. I'd love to add some ideas of my own, but I dunno how far-reaching you want consequences to be, or have many ideas that aren't derivative of yours already. 😅 What If Z Broly was sent to Earth and took Goku's place? We've had complete stomps before (Frieza vs GT Goku, for example), but this Raditz is presumably the same level as he was in life while this Goku, according to the scaling vids, is on the level of higher tier ToP fighters. Good thing he didn't try to catch smoke this time.
Really hoping that if a second update is ever made for the rankings, the What-Elses are featured. It'd be fun to see where the likes of the Meta-Coolers at different points, Xeno Trunks and Turles scale.
I agree, I really want this stuff to be added to future power scaling videos, but I have to wonder how likely that is, given that he's pumping these out so fast that by the time we would likely get a new video, what-else stories alone will have added dozens of characters needing to be ranked.

Not presumably, he was the same level. It was obvious in how GT handled nappa, frieza, and cell.
Goku literally lost to cell, and yet effortless dealt with him not only as ssj1 but as a child, which also canonically weakened the power his body could hold and produce, while against his hell form AND friezas hell form because it was (canonical to gt at least) canonical that someone in hell cant raise their power level because they are dead.
Which means frieza is still the beginning of android saga in power and cell is still at the end of cell saga ssj2 in power.
That's the whole reason ssj4 brought him back into adult form, it put his body back in its prime in order to handle the power output of ssj4 which, in non Canon and Canon material alike, is NOT his kid body.
I believe he even states during gt that being in asj3 is harder on him simply from being in a child's body and not any other factor in gt.
Meanwhile in the short you mentioned, it took from dbs Canon where you could grow stronger in hell, and that's why golden frieza wiped the floor with gt goku whilst gt frieza didn't even have another form for him let alone matched a saiyan who has reached ssj4 levels of power

As one of the five Raditz fans in the world, I am so sad they never encountered each other ever again.
Imagine you're revived from the dead only to find not only you are forgiven but that your brother whom you once helped kill spares you and unlocked an unknown near god like transformation that makes him millions of times stronger than you. To top it all off, he doesn't even want to see you. You're so insignificant he says two sentences to you and disappears into thin air from what appears to be magic. You're left stunned, unable to grasp the situation.
Only realistic outcome really. Tragic end for a Low-Class Saiyan warrior who was ruthless to his own brother. Deserved but hopefully in this what-if scenario, he learns.

In this scenario, Shin's earrings fell off after his fight with Majin Buu.
When Trunks went to get the radar for search for the Dragon Balls, he decided to go to the place where his father was last seen, hoping that he could find Vegeta, even if it was impossible. Though, he noticed two shiny things on the floor: earrings. He doesn't know who they belong to but he decides to take them.
Back in the time chamber, Trunks show the earrings to Goten, who didn't know what they are for. Trunks then, shows him by putting on his ear and comments that some cool teenages uses them. Goten decides to put but Trunks states that since they both were going to fuse, Goten should put in an opposite ear so once they become one, they will have earrings on both ears.
Goten agrees and put on an ear that is the opposite of the one Trunks placed on himself and suddenly, something happens.
An immense force attracts themselves to each other and the next result, is an individual with an immense amount of ki, principally because this fusion didn't required Trunks to lower his ki for match Goten's.
Once Piccolo arrives in the Time Chamber with Buu, he gets surprised in the moment he steps inside, as he felt a great ki emanating from the place. It could only belong to the boys since they were the only ones inside, he thought. But this ki was much bigger and stronger.
Buu, however, was excited once his eyes met with a certain individual, who was now the fusion of Trunks and Goten through the potara.
Loved everything here except the rival boost part that doesn't fit trunks and goten very well. Considering they are the best of friends while Vegeta and Goku were more like rivals for sure. Idea is fantastic though just a nitpick I have that's all.

Kidnapped his child, gokus in ssj4 so he's naturally prone to more aggressive primal feelings inside, wanted Goku to kill people on earth it's understandable but the shocking part is seeing what Vegeta did radiz is literally a softy so radiz is much more inclined to change. After all bardock and gine probably scolded radiz in hell alot
I got a feeling this is gonna be an interesting storyline as Raditz is gonna reflect on things and probably confront Kakarot at a later point. Although, assuming Raditz doesn’t get sent to hell again, there is the Shadow Dragons that occur right after this arc.

I like to think Nappa was smart enough to actually take Vegeta's advice and leave.
My head canon is, in this what if, right before Vegeta can blast of Nappa Goku teleport to him making vegetarian drop the ki.
Seeing Goku make Nappa also question reality, this alone make Vegeta lost interest in finishing off Nappa. Then the scene end with Goku and Vegeta fly off to catch Gero and gang while Nappa left puzzle.

Small thing but i love how much the tone and atmosphere of the “What else” episodes is dictated by the bgm.
In this case it works perfectly for both Goku and Raditz.
Goku understands the situation is extremely serious and cannot afford to play around in the slightest, which also sets the tension on Raditz's side; not even a word of acknowledgement that his brother is once again standing before him.
Just a cold simple warning and then leaves. Not paying him anymore attention than he has already.
Which of course leaves Raditz by himself to question everything.
If this happened in GT, it would make sense considering that Raditz was briefly seen in GT from far away while everyone was escaping Hell. Unlike Nappa who was dumb enough to get himself killed.

I have some suggestions for this series, what else:
1) If Dr.Gero had turned Raditz into an android.
2) Zamasu changes bodies with Hit.
3) The Shadow Dragons are born from the Black Star Dragon Ball.
The third option is neat, but i think it would be interesting too if made a Super Dragon Balls shadow dragons like if gods like zamasu or any other misused for greedy or selfish wishes over it and the super dragon balls starts to get cracked and corrupted generating shadows dragon with god ki level threat.

I don't want to come off as mean or say this wasn't good, the idea to meet Raditz again was a good one. I just wish there was more to the conversation or somehow had Raditz involved in some way in the What Else. This one just felt like a passing thought, like a blink and you miss it moment.
IT was just Raditz seeing Goku and then Goku leaves, no development, no real interaction, nothing. With Nappa and Raditz in this, I expected them to transform or something and it cuts out with the idea of them fighting Goku and Vegeta.
Tbh I think Raditz is someone Goku actually shows the least remorse for. The fact that Frieza was forgiven easier is nuts lol

Another absolutely fantastic video! I’d love to see a what-else centered around your own What Ifs sometime too; one idea is based on your battle between Vegeta versus Batman and Green Lantern. Lantern rings have been shown to fuse people before hand much like the potara, so would Vegeta have stood a chance against a Bruce Wayne/Hal Jordan fusion?
I’m not sure how often you read comments or if you’ll even see mine but is it possible that we could see a “what if kid Gohan turned super Saiyan?” I could think of a few possible scenarios where he does.
1. On Earth, after Piccolo is killed from protecting Gohan from Nappa’s attack.
2. On Namek, when Gohan, Krillin and Vegeta are fighting against the Ginyu force, before Recoome snaps his neck. Recoome attacks Krillin but instead of just getting badly injured, this time it jills him and Gohan transforms.
3. On Namek, after Krillin gets impaled by Frieza. Instead of just getting a rage boost and mildly hurting Frieza, once again maybe this time Dende is already dead or Frieza just happens to pierce Krillin’s heart and kills him causing Gohan to transform.
4. On Namek (again lol) maybe this time after Piccolo comes back after absorbing Nail, he begins to win against Frieza but once he transforms Frieza is stronger than him again. Well, this time 3rd form Frieza kills Piccolo and Gohan transforms.
5. Last one on Namek but after Goku throws the spirit bomb at Frieza and it’s revealed he’s still alive he just instantly kills Goku with a death beam and possibly even kills Piccolo and Krillin.
There are a lot of possible scenarios where Gohan could’ve transformed on Namek lol and I know Gohan being a super saiyan wouldn’t make him stronger than probably 2nd, maybe 3rd form Frieza around the time of his last zenkai after being healed by Dende after Krillin was impaled but hey, I just figured it’d be interesting and with your creativity I know you could make it better than what I came up with lol 🙏🏾

No. This is a what if from a gt episode when all the villains where let loose from hell. The Nappa and vegeta scenario in this vid plays out like in the show but the raditz and goku one do not.
The ssj4 goku vs golden frieza what if was also based on a gt episode, but in the actual ep, frieza and cell get blown over by base gt goku like its nothing.
Alot of his other vids are also based on an actual episodes with different scenarios witch is obvious since it's a what if channel lol but it's cool to find the original episode and see where hyourinjutsu twisted it.

Honestly I can see this happening in the circumstances they were in. Goku had far bigger things to worry about rather than Raditz's spiraling mind, along with that in comparison to a lot of hisold foes who came from hell Raditz is quite literally a tutorial boss that introduced Goku to the wider universe, it would barely require any effort heck all Goku would have to do is flex his ki a bit and Raditz would be killed so in comparisn to Super 17 and being tricked by Frieza and Cell Goku had bigger things to worry about.

This is so appropriately anticlimactic. While Goku had more important things to worry about, Raditz and Goku’s relationship was still entirely dependent on Raditz being so much stronger. Now that he’s not a real threat, he is nothing to anyone.

Guys, what do you think of an alternative story where Zamasu took Broly's body and became immortal? It would be a good what if?
Logically that should've been the route zamasu took, seeing broly has the most potential out of basically all the sayains and gave a harder time for goku, who humbled zamasu, if he took in to account that if Lssj Z broly could hold of a famly of super sayains back in Z then a couple of zenkais would bring broly black back up to super timeline speed in no time.
Short but sweet, if this leads any further i can only hope that it leads somewhere less intense or with a not dark ending after the intensity of the Cooler Saga.
I'd love to add some ideas of my own, but I dunno how far-reaching you want consequences to be, or have many ideas that aren't derivative of yours already. 😅
