    This video literally gives you the map for low risk high reward trades. Lately I’ve been letting my emotions cause me to make stupid entries/exits when trading. Followed this strategy today & was able to time a great entry on $CHPT after a double bottom & watched it for a break and retest to confirm whether i should keep holding. So far it’s shown me no signs of breakdown and a lot of strength since I got in even though at certain times I contemplated getting out cause it pulled back. Thanks for giving us ACTUAL STRATEGY to accompany the TA & not just saying look for a breakout here & giving an arbitrary price target. It’s been helping me remove a lot of emotion from my trades

    MSFT was trading well above VWAP as well at that point in time. Lots of happy traders that day!

    Great video! But I’ve been struggling with something. Whenever I do options I struggle with the stop loss. In this video you mention if the trade fails it will trigger your stop loss. Well how much would you have loss if it did trigger it? The reason I ask is that I tend to make around $120 to $150 a day and some days less. Whenever I keep my stop loss tight it’s constantly hitting my stop loss then moving up and going into profit but now I’ve loss funds and I’m out of the play and can’t use those funds again until tomorrow due to settled funds. So how do you protect your call option so it has room to move but also a stop loss that doesn’t eat up all your profit? And because options move so quick sometimes I can’t even get my stop loss activated (I’m on Webull) before a trade goes wrong. Any advice r or tips to better balance stop loss with options would be so helpful. Thank you!

    Awesome content. Learning a lot.
    Quick question : How is 9EMA on 15min 105 ? Isnt 9*15 = 135? Trying to understand since I remember in one of your old videos a few months back you used 135EMA . TIA and love your work.

    • @VincentDesiano
      @VincentDesiano  3 роки тому

      I’ve been messing around & found the 105 was a little more accurate. Always good to change the input and test what works best for you!

      @@VincentDesiano Aah makes sense. I am getting used to just using 9EMA , 21EMA and VWAP . Here is my theory when I scalp on 1 min (learnings from your videos plus few other things tuned to what works for me) : 9EMA is a guide line I used to ride the stock. 21EMA is the bounce point for me. Above VWAP is a bull trend and below VWAP is a bearish trend.
      Still trying to fine tune it . So will add 105 and see how it helps. Thanks man

    Thank u for this. You trade a lot of the stocks I watch for intraday trades. I'm going to practice this strategy this week coming up and hopefully my emotions will not get the best of me. Thinking of joining your discord soon and leaving the one I'm current in , as I'm seeing I'm more of an intraday trader than a scalper.

      Just 1 min chart but watching for a flag or a breakout pattern or a pullback before I enter trade. Also I enter only when the price is near the 9 EMA. The more it is away from it , it will be pulled back to 9ema before continuing the trend.

      3, 10, hour, daily chart on main ticker I'm watching + SPY, QQQ up at all times. Sometimes swap out 15 minute, 30 minute, weekly time frames depending on the chart. Then have some side watches with just the 3 minute up.

    Simple rules for trading opens:
    if you're in a position within 5minutes exit before the first 10.
    wait at least 2 minutes and look for a strong second candle close on the 1m (Wait mainly for spreads to settle down)
    Look at premarket high/low and previous day close as levels on top of support and resistance

    I have to disagree with you on the open. The open is LITERALLY the bread and butter of the day. Often(not all the time) the open dictates what happens the rest of the day. The key is using a 3 or 5 min chart at the open to avoid fake outs. You’re welcome.
