I grew up in a fairly catholic household. I was always lukewarm with religion as a child. Around middle school I completely gave up on it and became an atheist .through part of highschool and beginning of college I was not leading a good life. I kinda got my act cleaned up and almost for a year I’ve been with an amazing man who has been my rock. However for the past week and a half I’d say I’ve been thinking about how their maybe is a god or higher being out there . I don’t know why but it just came over me and I’ve been trying to get into praying. I’ve talked to one of my old friends who is religious and we were talking about how I’m coming back into believing. I’m not sure exactly what I believe in when it comes to an exact god ( please don’t come at me ) but it’s a weird feeling and I actually feel kinda good after trying my best at praying.

Our God is such a lovely father!
You can start reading in the book of John. Here reveals Jesus Himself as Seviour and the way to become His child so clear.
Go to Jesus for the firgiveness of your sins, repent, He will make you clean. He is faithfull!

I'd just like to say first, religion isn't what or who God is. He isn't counting how many times you read your Bible and went to church. He most certainly is NOT Interested in how many times you say this or that and so on... He just wants you right where you are no matter what! I found him in jail. I mean really found him. I like you did the religion thing. It burned me out. My heart wasn't in it. I didn't know God. I didn't understand his character or what unconditional love even meant. So when I say I KNOW GOD IS REAL... There are so so so many people in this world with incredible testimonies that you cannot deny, is true when you hear them speak. In jail I got on my knees and I told him I was so mad at him and how did this happen to me God? It didn't work out like you promised!?! Oh but it worked out alright!! I found God... He reveals himself to you in so many ways. He does this because he loves you and had I not had such a powerful interaction with God (The Holy Spirit) things would've never changed in my life. A moment with God changes everything. I won't go on but if you'll truly seek Him with all of your heart and ask him to please interact with you. Tell him you've struggled with "Religion" and you feel conflicted but yet have feelings that you do exist so please help me see the truth. God will not ignore your sincere request for his presence.
