It never occurred to me to use the stamp as a mask. Brilliant! The subtle background and soft branches create the perfect setting for the plump little bird. Your painstaking efforts are greatly appreciated; a gentle reminder to slow down. Thank you.
Absolutely love this card & the gorgeous 3D effect of the branches. A great way of making one branch stamp look like many different ones is to mask off a section before inking & remove it before stamping, or ink then carefully wipe off a bit so it doesn’t always have the same number of branches.
Wow! Absolutely gorgeous! Such a beautiful, gentle card. Thank you so much for sharing. I am going to have a go, as my Mum would love a card like this. I think I've got a Robin stamp, somewhere...lol
Thank you for your lovely comments Michelle glad your going to have a go at it. Why don’t you post your card on the card-io craft fb page when it’s finished I Would love to see it and I’m sure the rest of the group would too xx
Hi. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful card, I can't get over how quickly you put this together. Very impressive indeed. Although I can't help but wonder how you manage to come by dry wipes and seem to have a good supply of them.😊
Thank you for your lovely comments Deb. Re the baby wipes, I buy a packet of cheapest non perfumed wipes then take about ten at a time and dry them flat on a craft mat which doesn’t take long. When dry there ready for use and when I’m down to the last two I repeat the process hope that helps xx
Thank you, it’s just a personal preference you can use any blending technique you find suits bests, I do use blending brushes as well as dry baby wipes, it really depends on what scene I’m trying to create. Hope that helps xx
Thank you Emma instead of a dry baby wipe you could use blending brushes I have used these in some of the other demos there are different kinds so depending on what suits you best xx
Hi Samantha if you mean the craft mat, if you type in stay put craft mat into your search engine it will come up. There are various prices but make sure it’s the non slip version it’s brilliant hope that helps xx
