I know this was already replied to, but to give further explanation, the technique makes it like both hammers are making one solid hit before one light hit in rapid succession one after the other so close together that they make a flush rhythm. At least that's my not exactly firsthand understanding of it. I play the bass so I have a lot of time to watch the drummer do cool stuff.
I searched "cu**crusher drums cover" and I thought that I would get no results other than the drums playthrough of this song by Infant Annihilator's drummer: Aaron Kitcher because well, this song has the fastest double bass and blast beats I have ever heard and therefore, it's really hard. I thought that only Aaron Kitcher was capable of playing this song. Well done!

Sadly he experienced health problems for years and completely embraced drum programming and only did slow brutal stuff with black tongue. I always did wonder what the point of using a big acoustic bass drum if it's gonna be muted all the way to hell and be completely replaced by a triggered sound though; might as well use a 6" electronic pad into the trigger at that point. Or skip the beaters entirely and put the trigger directly in the pedals.

It's called double strokes for your information, and it indeed is an variation of heel-toe. Many drummers nowadays use this technique. Just search for a double stroke bass drum technique on youtube, you'll find plenty.
Casey Hall no your heel need not be on the pedal, I've seen it. there's a vid where a guy proves that heel toe can be done with any pedal, and size foot or shoe, he hangs his heel well beyond the pedal on the floor literally and still does heel toe.
