Been driving manual for 10 years, but automatic is on another level especially in city driving where every 3 seconds you have to brake and change gear.
I'm learning how to drive manual and gotta say, it feels impossible at first but eventually it burns into the muscle memory and I'm already starting to feel confident and natural. Wish I got a newer car though
Yep manual cars and vehicles are pretty easy. Unsyncronized gearboxes are where my line is.. You have to match the engine RPM to the transmission input rpm every time you change gear up or down
@@user-tb9mg4md7dyea like my rabbit 2008 2.5 5 cylinder is has no synchros so u naturally have to match the rpms it has a beautiful sound tho and it was pretty easy to me
love the videos sir, please do more. it's very satisfying to watch and helps me learn as well as I'm trying to learn how to drive a stick. Have a good day! Love the channel
It’s a feel thing. Once you understand what a clutch does, you’ll realize how to utilize it. Slow engagement with enough gas to bring up your rpm’s slightly over idle, for a quicker take off
We've got the CVT version of a Toyota Raize (Turbo) but I always love to drive it in manual mode, this video made me wanna drive and learn a manual car so bad 🥹🥹🥹
chinese clutch kits vibrate like crazy..in usa... Don't get a stickshifcar t Unless it's brand new Because getting 1 to work with today's quality of parts is very difficult they're very finicky and they can lose hydraulic pressure....😢😢😢😢I've been dealing with a problem for 3 years and every single part is brand new It's very very frustrating.... And the transmission was replaced 3 times.....
Oh wait, do you just shift into neutral when you know you're about to stop? Can't believe I didn't think of doing that instead of having to shift down each gear D:
The benefit of manual is being able to have the agency to tell the car what to do. Get comfortable and familiar with what’s happening in your car when you do something and then find what’s best for you.
dude, i'm going to take my driving test soon and i've never driven a manual car in my life yet. these footwork look really complicated and im so nervous... are there some things you can recommend me?
The positions of your feet are kind of confusing? You are barely using the rest pad on the left side which is , kind of confusing xD. And yea, I dont drive like that at all, My feet are straight at all times.
Your success, satisfaction and smooth of driving depends A LOT of what exactly car you driving, with what engine, pedals and HOW all it works properly/good condition. Even old car could be very smooth and easy if you put a lot of care and some money to make it work good. And anyone brand bew car could be driving with struggling and jerky if it chip, bad condition or just piece of “modern Chinese car”😂 Sorry don’t have anything bad to say about exactly Chinese cars but just want you to understand that not every modern car is good enough.

Got up in the morning and overnight My clutch pedal rides up real high for engagement Just overnight Act like the clutch is so thin...... So I got an electric motorcycle and I'm done with gas and transmissions And everything like that Gas is the past..... You'll never pick up a girl with a car anyways...

@@Jason-od7in I love Automatic +/- 😁 in my Volvo. I noticed, that it helps save fuel.
Manual in the city sounds like a whole ass sport
@@shuanextreme Yeah and if the clutch pedal is stiff, your left leg will be more muscled than the right one😂

It's soo satisfying to see relaxed Manual driving :)
Always enjoy watching your videos! Keep 'em coming, man! Nice civic btw :)

Nice Driving got to love those Classic manual vehicles :)
I love watching your video. I finally can drive manual car!
first time I've seen someone have their heel down on the floor while pressing/releasing the clutch
Thank you, all i wanted
Best of all... no screens.
No matter how many camera angles you give me, I will never understand how 😂
That's because you need to feel the car when driving a manual😅
This angle is just odd, on top of the roshe’s tho lol
fr same😂
That’s exactly how I thought, then I started riding a motorcycle and somehow I completely understand it for cars now 😂

I find it so bizarre how much of a big deal manual gearboxes are in the states. Here in the UK more or less everyone can drive a manual.
I thought you have to hit the breaks first then clutch no!?! At 0:13
I was at a really slow speed so pressing the brake without clutch in would make the car jerk.
it was 1st gear
Interesting so you go from 3 to 1 on a stop.
Should you go 3 .. 2 … then 1 so you save your clutch?
1st time a driving video I can't understand which gear is he driving the car? I mean 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6😂
Bro are Hondas notorious to having squeaky clutch pedals? Cuz my 03 accord has that squeaky noise.
I’m wondering too.
This is the only Honda I’ve driven.

Mine's manual swapped, so I guess there is some play in the clutch assembly. And my interior vibrates along randomly LOL.
I listen closely to your video it sounds like you have a good pressure plate.......

Not a good practice, better to downshift.
Do not coast , it saves some fuel yes in some cars but you loose control of the car its dangerous
@@TomasSoto-iw6yc Not a bad practice either, better to wear out my brakes than my clutch if I'm stopping at a red light

I prefer resting on the gas side,i guess for me it is more comfortable:) (since my primary is left maybe ?)
what did you use to record your dashboard?
Iphone for pov view and gopro for pedal cam.

Nice
1:07 is that a gr corolla?
Nope. Thats a Corolla.
Same on the outside maybe but the gr part is most likely negative
Why so many cars with warning lights on?
crowded metro area people get out of their running cars to do small things
