I can't wait until the day I play this music for my children. Not when they're kids though. Right when they think they've got a firm grasp on reality as adults, and then bam! Spirituality check!
What a tune. One of my faves of all time. Bought Northern Exposure, the first Way Out West album and BT's Ima all on one day back in '97. That day changed my life!
Whoa! What a day! My friends introduced me to NE in 1997 and I took the ball and ran with it. Got Ima when we all finished school and moved in together, and lost it after that year, and never listened to it again, so it’s like a time capsule. Think I’m going to listen to it today. It’s going to bring me right back to that year, when we were living 100% in that moment. It was all about the music and all about the love. What good times we had. Forever grateful.
Haha, reminds me of my quest to get all the Renaissance CDs. According to my Amazon account I paid £65 for the 3rd CD in 2004, which I think is Fathers of Sound. That's what a student loan is there for. Did something similar for the John Digweed one, barely even listened to them, the main thing is I have them!

Best comment I've ever read! I'm dying
the whole cd northern exposure is just amazing!!!
Only the TRUE UNDERGROUND RAVERS know this...you know what i'm talking about!
Back when house music gave you both raving and the chills.
Nowadays you don't see them do it like this.
The technology has made artists and producers lazy.
happy b-day today to the greatest mix cd ever made , 20 years ago , foooook

pure perfection, all the elements required to convert the most stubborn of electronic music haters,
When trance WAS trance, the good old days!
Wow the lyrics and everything, good music doesn't need vocals to embrace.
quality track, i've got the promo triple edition on vinyl, had it about 10 years now and would never sell.......when prog was good!
never sell those. They are priceless
I had the same 66 now sold them regretted it ever since I'm almost crying
I love that clap they slowed down at 4:49 - just takes it up a few notches.

I used to write listening while listening to Northern Exposure, and I've easily written a hundred pages just listening to this song.

Morning star ...tis
@3:05 my lungs feel like they are going to explode!🙏❤️
Yes, some do. Some electronic artists, like me, use that "sampling", to record their own sounds..
💙
Does anyone know any Apollo 440 tracks as memorising as this? This is literally amazing, but the rest of apollo 440 seems very different
To this day ..class ..or cool .. was always hitting the repeat on the md cd converter .. what i would hear is fuxking leave it alone ..hang on we can get on to the last train to lasha after.. i would say ..

I just watched "the thing" .....
does anyone know where the voice samples are from?
I'd also like to know this
No zajebista muza
i doubt that, electronic aritsts usually take sounds from internet videos, documentaries, and other songs. it's called sampling.
Gwan.....
From Apollo 440?
3 people are "not alive.."
This is on North not south, correct the thumbnail
Not on the vinyl release it isn't. The thumbnail is correct.
@@Shoomer1988 and not even mixed . Do people a favour and point them to the real thing
Serious question..What is wrong with you?@@kempos81
@@Shoomer1988 I feel this track is the jewel in the crown of probably my favourite ever mix CD (north). And I’m a bit grumpy 😊
