I just finished this in two shades of gray for my grandson. I am making him a pair of gray sweatpants to go with it, and I am putting the ribbing from this sweater on the waist and ankles. I am also putting two pockets on the pants from this sweater. Since you only gave instructions for one size of pocket, and I made a size 4/5 sweater, I made a pocket using the same stitch of the sweater 17 stitches wide and 6 rows high, finished with slip stitches around 3 sides. Then, I made the opposite pattern face up from the main pattern of the sweater. I think it looks good proportion wise and texture wise, too.
Just made this in a green and navy colour for my Grandson, I absolutely love it ! Thank you once again for your wonderful tutorial and videos. You explain everything as you go along which make it easier to follow.
Just finished! Loved the way you walked through the steps very clearly. The jacket came out super cute! My only suggestion is changing the size of the pockets depending on the size being made. The pockets for 0-3 seemed to be slightly too big.

I’m quite new to crochet so the chart/table of measurements you showed at the beginning is so useful to someone like me who doesn’t understand garment construction in crochet. I’m a knitter really but sometimes I have to give my hands a rest because knitting can hurt after a while, so I’ve turned to crochet so that I don’t have lazy hands. Thank you so much for your tutorials, we have a baby due in the family soon and I’m probably going to knit all your items, we already know it’s a boy which is why I started with this little jacket. You could turn your cardigan inside out for the edging it won't make a difference for the edge and might will look nicer
It's not edge it's when you start going upwards. But nevermind it doesn't make much difference 😊

Yes you can, but you would have to increase the hood as the neckline is not wide enough for the hood

The hood should be about 50 cm wide in total
