A lawyer does not have to be present for a house search by warrant, i.e. Breonna Taylor. However, feel free to fact-check me.
In France this would have made the procedure or search illegal.
The main interested party (the person who is the subject of the search) or a representative can be present to avoid any risk that the police may place evidence themselves.
Otherwise corruption can convict an innocent.

The FBI didn’t release any information because they’re in the middle of an investigation and they don’t want to give any pre-text so that some people might assume Trump is guilty when it’s not proven yet

While I do support Trump I have to point out that she did not answer the question regarding receipt of the warrant and itemized list of what was removed. I watched an interview with Christina Bobb, another Trump attorney who was also present, where she did say she finally received the warrant.

His lawyer got a copy of the search warrant and his lawyer was on the premises. She left out that information.
She was shown the search warrant from several feet away and was not given a copy. She was not allowed inside and made to stay outside in the heat.

Wait, I thought a search warrant was a legal document that you presented to the person (or their legal representative) whose premises are to be searched to prove you have the right to do it. How can you show up and say "we have a sealed warrant for unfettered access to anything we want." Why go through the motions of a warrant in that case?

If the world is watching they saw this lawyer robotically read from a prepared script that was in a manner no way particularly eloquent , she was evasive when asked about having the warrant (they have a copy of it with an inventory of items removed) it is "sealed" so they cannot view evidence the DOJ has, in no way is this unusual, and then deflected to issues that have nothing to do with the service of the LEGAL warrant (Hunter, Pelosi's husband, Epstein?, blah, blah, blah...). The truth is that Trump kept sensitive, if not classified documents in an unlocked basement storage room, documents that he was asked to return, but withheld ILLEGALLY and are property of the US government. If ANYONE, including and especially a former president, refuses to return sensitive federal government documents, it is the duty of the DOJ through the FBI to recover it. Trump's lawyers can legally release their copy of the LEGAL warrant if they want. This whole situation could have been avoided if the Mandarin Mussolini has just complied earlier. Having served 28 yrs as a police officer and Having conducted hundreds of search warrants it is against all rules and common sense to exclude either the property owner or their representative/family members from a property being searched. It very obviously leaves the officers open to Having planted bogus so called evidence at the property. At a point in time I would have had a lot of respect and admiration for the FBI that has gone due to the recent history of what was a highly regarded and professional organisation.
