The drain plug is 15mm and if you have some cardboard like from an appliance you can save the driveway. I also use gloves that save your hands.

I was always told hand tighten only. You probably ruined your gasket on the oil filter
It was ok. I’ve changed it a couple times since. I didn’t horse it on there. But I’ve heard the same. Hand tight. I did that on the KK and had some drips. So I like to be cautious but smart
Is the same process for a jeep TJ 94 4 cylinders manual?

I would assume so! Don’t think they changed the oil filter location, etc
Writing down the wrench size? so what was the deal? First time maybe..
I have 8 vehicles, and even if I just had the one YJ, I would never remember.
