Thanks Mr. TAYM for showing the old girl, Divvy, scrubbed up well. Now that`s what Fairy liquid and Mr. Sheen does for a bike, once a week. Simonize car wax on the tank, side panels and mudguards, once a month in winter and maybe every 2 months in summer. Teflon clear chain lube, and WD40 on any linkages. 20 mile commute every day sun-snow-ice and rain, loved it. I`d had her about 3 years then, looked better than when I bought her. Auto-sol on the chrome and Jizer on the block, smelled "marvellous".

That stump that is carved, very nice to see someone took time to carve that. But the look on that guy's face, seen it a hundred times, while you talked to yourself was priceless. I thought he was going to catch up to you with the giraffe talking to yourself again. That would have been wonderful.

Yep, it was me with the mitts 😀😀 .. At this time they are on the scooter and I am riding it on -10 Celsius 😀 in combination with heated grips. So, I am nice and toasty even in that temp with summer gloves. 😀😀

I was away this weekend, I’ve got some catching up to do.
I put Hippo Hands on the 890 Adventure a month or so ago. It made my 500 mile jaunts which start in sometimes the high 30’s F, much more enjoyable when teamed up with electric gloves and jacket liner.
100% agreement on the topic of text talk infiltrating every avenue, it’s a dumbing down of society. For years I’ve stated that we need to stop catering to the lowest common denominator.

Marvellous Mutter as usual TAYM, I believe they had to change the name of the Hunter because Hunter is a trademark owned by Chrysler. They had to do the same in America with the Interceptor which is a Trademark owned by Honda in the U.S so it is known as the INT650 over there. I wouldn't worry about it too much it will always be known as the Hunter regardless of what they put on the side panels.

Thanks H 😊 I think it would have to be another motorcycle and I don’t know of one. Even as it is spelt they could get a claim for passing off . I am not convinced but they could have taken an easy path😊 just seems a little strange but then we are used to that in the motorcycling world 😂😂😂

Another marvellous Monday mutter and yet again a great selection of viewers bikes. Sorry but that Norton with the hand muffs just looked wrong, very wrong. It's a bit like people who dress their dogs up, it's just cruel, bikes have feelings to you know. As for the youth of today I feel for them, indoctrinated with leftist ideology, confused about their pronouns and now the government has brought forwards the ban on 50-125cc bikes to 2025. That's a very worrying development, the start of a steep slippery slope 🤔🙄😕

Very cold (snow) and wet here for the past two weeks, so only riding when I absolutely have to, like last week to take the Classic 350 to the dealers ( four hour round trip ! ) for a service 🥶

The Hunter is called and badged Hunter in all othrr markets so I guess it's a copyright issue in the UK (Hawker or Hillman, now British aerospace or Peugeot). I'm not mad on the tank graphics either but the Dapper Ash version doesn't have them so it's my favourite colour, not that I've ever seen any Hunter. I hope you get to ride one soon, I'm really looking forward to your verdict.

I thought that RE had to call the European Hunter, the HNTR because Hillman (Chrysler) have the copywrite on the Hunter name, but I might be wrong (most probably 🙄). Nice to see parts of Bury St Edmunds again spent many years working for GKN motorparts/Partco . Still trying to run in classic 350 another 80 miles to-do. Stuart Fillingham mentioned on one of his videos RE open face helmet and jacket tried to find on RE site with no luck back up on RE gear seems poor compared to Triumph unless you want to buy from India.

Morning, congratulations on reaching the 3k milestone 🎉. Regarding the Royal Enfield HNTR, I’d heard on another channel that the reason behind the odd way of naming the bike is due to an international copyrighting issue with some other vehicle company. How reliable that information is I’m not sure but it could be plausible. Also next time you stop at the “old man” tree stump could you get a closer look as I can’t make out the “horse” you’d mention. Thanks foxy😊 I am not convinced on that argument but lots say so. To me a car is very different to a small capacity motorcycle and believe any lawyer would kick such a claim into touch. It could be another motorcycle but I don’t know of one🤔

It is my understanding that Enfield used HNTR because the name Hunter is already owned by someone else in Europe , I don’t know but I do know that they use the full name on their Hunters sold in India. I’m an old man but I still love my Hunter despite the graphics (which are unfortunately under the varnish). I’m looking forward to seeing your review of the Hunter- I think you will be impressed. Super Meteor will do alright in NZ 🇳🇿 & Australia & Europe.America too now there's no small Harley Davidson bikes like Street 500-750 & 883 Sportster.The Interceptor is similar performance to 883 & a smidge better with my experience riding a Interceptor with 883 Sportster.I think Super Meteor will do really well.

502 TRK sound good too.I read a article where they compare it to a KLR650 & another adv bike I can't remember.The Benelli was heavier & slower but alot more tourqe & tourqe delivery was better suited to off road & gravel cause of it low down tourqe.Capable of 2up at 130kmh but not as fast at top end as KLR 650 obviously with extra 150cc.
Benelli bikes are always on heavy side compared to competitors.
For a Adv bike you want for gravel & dirt it has that low down tourqe you need & the price is s good too.For a 500cc they made it 2up friendly & panniers a large.Benelli similar to R.E & BSA as they're designed in Italy built in China so Italian heritage bike.
Great in NZ 🇳🇿 where we lot's of gravel roads to ride & lost roads people don't take as they gravel linking up region's with very little tarmac if you know where to look.
Small enough to handle if dropped & good tourqe delivery when needed off the tarmac at slower speeds where it loves to be.I've seen a few here in NZ 🇳🇿 & suit the terrain.New bigger version out now too but 502 is small enough to wrestle around if need be.

My daughter recently called me such a boomer because I use full stops when I text, which she said were not needed. But, it is the English language isn't it? In the case of Royal Anvil, I don't think that we have to worry, because the misspelling of Hunter is due to that name being copyrighted already in the UK. The Interceptor is sold in the USA as the INT, for a similar copyright reason. Another fine mutter and some great photos too. I just had a jolly good 200km ride and I discovered a whole new set of country roads with little or no traffic, a little further afield, which I shall be exploring.......

Bsa has removable baffle get one of them! Apparently royal enfield interceptor need service on valves at 5000 miles himalayan 3000, bsa gold star 24000! Wow, was on you tube site
