@hikingwithfrank315 thanks Frank. It was weird going up the ridge was very windy. But when I made the summit it wasn't that windy lol. But really enjoyed going up that way. Been up Ben Lomond 4 times now but that was the first time that way. I'll be definitely going up that way from now on when I go back. Thanks for watching.
@thelifeofbrian282 cheers mate. It was a tad windy but still really enjoyed it. But got to admit I did struggle a little. But took my time and loved it.
Alan always a good day out on the ben been a long time since i was last up there done it 6 or 7 times now lost count 😅 but still never done this route but definitely next time will do it this way . A bit windy but least you got the views and no rain. Atb Ally 👍
@Allysmountainwalks6462 well mate. It was raining at some points. I kept taking off and putting my jacket back on. I got fed up and kept the jacket on lol. It was mostly windy going up from the ridge. But when I got to the summit it some how calmed down. Thanks for watching.
@themunrobagger cheers mate. Not gonna lie. I found it tough today. It has been a while. If it wasn't windy I would of had my drone. But far too windy. Thanks for watching mate.
Nice one Alan, sounded a bit windy but least you got the views….you’re one in front of me on Lomond lol….gonna head up north tonight and sleepover in car and do Gleouraich and Spidean Mialach in morning….that’s the plan anyway….sick of this weather 🙈 Take care mate, Steven ⛺️🥾🏔️🏴🏴
Thanks mate. Enjoy your day tomorrow. Am hoping to bag new munros either next Sunday or the following Sunday. My car is going in for a MOT and service tomorrow then my damaged door is getting fixed next week. So might wait till it's all fixed. Again enjoy tomorrow. Looking forward to your posts on Facebook.
@@MyScottishAdventures I’m hoping to do the 4 next Sunday that I was gonna do today The Grey Corries….forecast looks better for next week so fingers crossed 🤞
@outofayrshire143 no way. That's the ones I was thinking about too lol. Either that or ring of steall. But I need to wait and see if my wife is off work first before I decide to go. If I can't manage next weekend I'll be going out the following Sunday.
@andythemunroeater9884 I slept in a little lol. But thought I would be a good husband and take the wife to work and pick her back up. I've been up Ben Lomond 3 times prior. But this time I went up via the ridge walk. Have you done Ben Lomond?
@MyScottishAdventures that's good of you 😁 Yes, Ben Lomond was my 4th Munro. Ben Nevis I've done about 5 or 6 times, 1st time when I was about 12, last time 2018. Then I did Carn na Caim and A Bhuidheanach in Dec 21, after seeing Paul's video of them, to see if I'd enjoy it. Then April 22 was the proper start of my munro journey.
@andythemunroeater9884 I done my first and 2nd munro in 2020. Then I waited about a year and done Ben Lomond and done Ben Lawers and Beinn Ghlass. But 2023 was I say the proper start for me. I done 26 that year. This year has been a struggle. Changing job and having a little less money and trying to balance family life my munro journey has been a little struggle this year. I've only done 6 this year so far. Am hoping to bag a couple either next week or the following week. I've done 38 in total. But not in a rush. Just need to be patient and enjoy the journey. Sorry for the story lol.
@MyScottishAdventures yeah, life gets in the way sometimes. I was trying to get up every 2 mo the or so but that's not going to happen this month or next prob, I'm too busy with work. I've done 36 this year so far but my target for each year is 50. I'm a bit older than you so I want to get them done and then do other stuff in Scotland, and not have to worry about them. ATB Andy
