I was never the biggest fan of Melo or like him nearly as much as most seem to but with that being said it's sad to see him retire. I don't remember an NBA without Melo in it. I started watching basketball the year he was drafted. I'm almost 30 now. He was an all-time lethal scorer. I remember some nights my friends would call me and say "Bro turn the Nuggets/Knicks game on Melo has 15 in the 1st quarter". I'm glad he's at peace with his career not winning a ring. He won a national championship and he's an all-time Olympic great. His career was really good.

As a Knicks fan I love Carmelo (as everyone does) but his stat line of 62-8-0-0-0 was the most legendary scoring game I’ve seen
