As a Greek myself i can say that everything i have seen so far are very accurate. Some mini comments. 1)The port of Piraeus is just like that in real life. 2)In 16:58 if you turn right(it has yellow arrows in the game) my house is just 100m from there. 3)Parthenon is far away from the port. 4)The Corinth Canal is our little version of Panama Canal. 5)The speed limit for trucks, in highways, is actually 90 and not 80. 6)You got all the names correct so far except Chios.
7:05 In the settings you can change the 🅿️ parking mode to automatically advanced setting, so you don’t have to stop at the entrance of the business by delivery and have to search a bit for the parking spot. Great vids by the way keep up the great work.
Loved the look of Athens..I'm looking forward to heading that way in my next drive! It feels the Odyssian Voyager achievement is going to be really quick to get since the cities are all so densely packed.
I'm curious what the city proper part of Athens looks like, interested to get over there shortly. Maybe the next delivery if all works out. But yes, I think I'm at 8/12 cities for the achievement and it's gone really fast. :)
. Oh. Hadn't heard of that before. To be honest am happy with my Track IR for now. Am level 274 on EST2 Now. Have just updated with Greece addon. I use Promods patched on the game. That is just updated now to for Greece.
Yes, I have had a few problems with the ferries. But I have reversed off, there was no way I would have done a U turn. I have found a hidden road on one of the islands. Another great video.
Oh, good to know about the hidden roads. There have got to be a few in here, for sure. And yeah, I got so lucky with that u-turn. I think 9 times out of 10 I get totally stuck there.
The Parthenon is in the game, but I'm not sure if you can get anywhere where you can actually see it without using the developer cam or at least a farther zoom camera mod to get high enough. It's rendered with very simple geometric objects since you can't get near it. Even with the developer cam you have to pause the game with it loaded to fly over to it, since if the game is unpaused it loads different scenery that doesn't include it when you approach it.
You can actually drive up onto the upper deck of the bigger ferries in Greece. Sadly there's no fast travel point up there, so you will have to back up, all the way down again, which should be a problem for you. 😉 I opted to jump of the upper deck onto the quay the get off the ferry again, which does cause some damage to your truck though. 😅
Haha! I did not realize you can get up there. I know there are a couple of different types of ferries, so it must just be for one type. ... I really feel compelled to try to get to the second deck of one of these now. :)
The 12:5§ is a hidden hidden road to nowhere, you can drive up with a trailer, but you will end up in an almost graphical glitch… had to drive back down with the trailer in reverse
That brought back some memories,. stood on the bridge watching a ship come up the canal, the various visits to Athens and Argostoli on Kefalonia. Just wondering if this dlc has any hill, mountain journeys as some of the roads are scary stuff. Many thanks.
That canal looks amazing! I had no idea it was built like that, but it looks like a massive ship just moving down a slit in the earth. Humans are incredible at times. And we'll have to hunt down some of the winding stuff. I know there are some spots on the map that look like spaghetti.
Perfect timing, just woke up :) I have been at Crete once in 2009 on a vacation. When you left the first depot with yacht you did make same mistake as Custard when turning right at the gate. There was an option to go straight to a wider road. Looks like planning ahead is more important than ever. I think the trailer damage this time came from driving too fast off the ferry. The ramp does make sudden fall and you most likely bottomed out. The Krone trailer is the new electric trailer. It has a drive axle build in to save fuel. I don't know if this makes a difference in game though. I don't think that gravel path was a hidden road. Looked just walking path to me. I don't know if the driving distance at job starting point is the accepted distance for the event. For example if the driving distance is 190 km and you make couple detours to make it over 200 km does it count...?
Yeah, some of the turns in Greece have been interesting! And I think you're right on the trailer damage in this episode. Thanks for the info on the Krone trailer! Very cool. :) I was wondering the exact same thing about the driving distance. Like, could you just go a few Km out of the way to get the 200km. Might be something to test. :)
Oh, this is handy to know, because sometimes the distance of the delivery is very close to the amount required and it'd be easy to make a small detour to make the delivery qualify. :)

That's great about the Greece DLC, thanks for sharing this. And I'll have to look up the Chios pronunciation, thanks for letting me know. :)

Thanks! I actually was aware of that but kind of prefer the "drive up and get told where to put it" method. And thanks for the kind words! :)

Corthin canal is the world’s narrowest and deepest canal
Very fun episode, that was definitely an adventure!
The islands add a very different element to the game. It's fun, and Greece is filled with challenges and stuff. :)
@ and very narrow roads!
You definitely need to get a 'TRACK-IR" you wear a cap anyway, so you wont even notice it. It is a game changer with EST2.
I just recently purchased a Tobii, I'll be setting it up next week. :)
. Oh. Hadn't heard of that before. To be honest am happy with my Track IR for now. Am level 274 on EST2 Now. Have just updated with Greece addon. I use Promods patched on the game. That is just updated now to for Greece.
Yes, I think both tracking systems can work great. And good to know about the ProMods update, thanks!
I can see myself getting stuck trying to navigate those narrow streets. What fun.
Definitely one of the more challenging DLCs, really fun!
@@ZillaBlitzPC Until you get stuck, like I often do (LOL)
I'm sure that's going to happen to me, too. :)
You might already know this, but in Photo Mode you can spin the mouse wheel to zoom in-and-out.
Oh, thanks! I move it around usually with the keyboard, but I'm not sure I've used the middle wheel to zoom. Thanks!

Fun adventure continue and good to get a dose of the Islands. Athens looks impressive as does the rest of the DLC thus far.
This might be my favorite DLC. :)
Did you know that Greece is home to the world’s narrowest canal? And here is something. IT IS IN THE GAME!
It's amazing, and it shows up in one of these three episodes, offhand I forget which one. But yep, we visit it. :)

@ZillaBlitzPC Just do it, it's going to be fun !
Haha! It sounds a bit expensive, to be honest. And without insurance, that can get pricey in ETS2. :)
Believe it or not but Greece is chalk full of surprisingly narrow roads
Based on this DLC, I believe it! :)
I'm from Greece but I've never been to kavala, mitilibi or chios but love your videos
Hello and welcome! Thanks for the kind words. It's quite fun exploring your country. :)
The 12:5§ is a hidden hidden road to nowhere, you can drive up with a trailer, but you will end up in an almost graphical glitch… had to drive back down with the trailer in reverse
Hmmm. At 12:50 in the video I'm in the ferry. :)
@@ZillaBlitzPCin this video is 20:29
Ah, okay, got it! Now I understand, thanks! :)

Yes with detours over 200km does count but if you take a ferry they are NOT driving kilometers and doesn’t count for the trip distance.
