I don’t mind this but don’t love it. I just hope the movies are solid and satisfying even without the special guests! I felt like Iron Man and Cap got great endings. Will be happy to see them, but they don’t need the spotlight anymore!
Iron Man isn't in the movie.RDJ is player Doctor Doom. Nor do we know who Chris Evans is playing. Bit, your response is the reason why I don't think he will be playing Cap.
@ I knew about Doom and we don’t know who Evans is playing. I should have said the actors AND their previous characters got great endings. So my concern is diluting those endings, even if the actors are playing different characters. I’m also hesitant to embrace that when it seems like the MCU is digging for nostalgia they KNOW we’d like to decorate possibly lackluster films. The RDJ casting struck me as that, although I see how it’s clever and can be interesting and emotional. The MCU also seems on a path of throwing stuff out there and if the reaction isn’t what they wanted, they might dump it. Which I can understand, but I think they’re operating far too much on the audience to shape their storytelling. And if they’re looking to social media response, they have to know so much is sensationalized.
