@ChillyCloth the characterization of Batman and Gordon were amazing imo. I think the action just what held it back for me because the movie was focusing on being really grounded. That car chase scene tho was definitely the best imo. I still don’t think anything tops that warehouse scene from Batfleck still.
It would be interesting if the next games in this series added a fear meter for goons and thugs. The more things you do like taking their allies out or vanishing mysteriously or dropping smoke on them would make them more likely to miss shots or run away. I know they have people getting scared via voice lines but I think expanding that whole system would really play into a lot of how batman uses fear to fight.
I always found it odd that Bruce wouldn’t just add the additional helmet piece to cover his entire face on his suit. If he catches a bullet to the chin, it’s all over

I'm playing Gotham Knights (Cause I got it for free) and man the Batman they got for the some of the cinematics sounds bad compared to Kenvin Conroy. Fake Batman. I'm happy Kevin Conroy got to star in the one of the top Superhero video game trilogies.
My head cannon for his armor being bullet proof is it's an early design that sacrifices mobility for the extra protection, in the next movie we'll hopefully see a suit redesign that'll be accompanied by them mentioning something along those lines. The other possibility is that the thugs are doing aiming at center mass which happens to be the best armored section of the suit ad pointed out by The Arkham knight in the game.

However I don't see this in The Batman. Pattinson doesn't seem to be at all restrained by the suit. He seems to walk and move fast whenever he needs to, and slow walks around because he's Batman. I do wish to see him actually avoid bullets, though. Him being bulletproof kills a lot of potential of the fight scenes.

@@finnslibrary2189 I love masterpieces. You don’t need to use a 3 year old imagination to have a blast if the game is actually good. This is one of the masterpieces. Black ops 3 multiplayer? Master piece. A good game should not force you to take your 4 hours a week of gaming time, and use a child’s imagination. It should be autonomously enjoyable. Detroit become human? Trash. Last of us? Good cinema, slow, trash game. I’d be less bitter if we got better games for next gen.

I would like to have a storyline, where Batman gets killed by Joker gas. Then they put him in the Lazarus Pit and out of the pit comes a totally insane Batman, who kills just like Red Hood, but more skilled and dangerous. The Batman who laughs just with another origin.

This was the only issue I had with the film and the many before, his armor isn't the skin off Superman's body. It's like triple-weave kevlar, even if he's not getting hit by the bullets he's still got to FEEL the impact and that's enough to break his ribs and shit. Batman sticks to the shadows and gets the drop on his opponents, the armor is there to save him if he can't get out of the way in the time it's not there to make him invulnerable. Remember, he's just a normal guy under that suit.
Except he does feel it. They go out of their way to show scenes of his body terribly bruised and beaten to hell when out of the suit. As far as the pain goes, I imagine it's mind over matter. Hell, we even see it catch up to him at the end. He had to take venom to get back up. Remember, this is Year 2 Batman, he's trying to strike fear into all criminals. And one best way to do that is show them that the one thing that gives them their strength, firearms, does NOTHING to him. It's a great fear tactic.
Well after the ending where batman is shot with a shotgun point blank and was clearly injured because he decided to walk slowly and dramatically, maybe he'll learn this

But, on serious notes. I can't know for sure how hard Robert Batman armor is, but getting all that bullets deflecting over his body without flinching is just superhuman.

I think the armor makes sense in the movie considering hes taking on criminals with his bare hands while they have guns so hes going to shot hence the bulletproof armor
I think they confused batman for superman in terms of the ability to survive things in this movie. He's shot like 9,000 times, flies head-first into a bridge at terminal velocity followed by smashing into a few cars, takes a bomb at point-blank range, and walks it off like he scraped his knee.

I loved The Batman but i really didn't like how they made his suit completely invulnerable and removed a lot of the stealth aspects of the character, he's basically more Terminator than Batman in the fight scenes. That's my only main complaint really.
Yeah he's practically superhuman in that suit. People will claim because he gets hurt that shows he's human but in reality if that fall in the movie didn't kill or seriously injure him, he would still be unable to get out of bed for a few weeks. Just ask any sports player.
Normally you would think all guns are equally lethal but faster guns can also be weaker in terms of calibre, the goons are full auto blasting him but it barely seems to register. Smaller rounds can be shot off faster than larger rounds since there's less force behind it but you also have less stopping power in each round. You might consider it in the sense of 'less pew = more pews per second' but the swiss cheese paradox also has a similar paradigm: 'more cheese = more holes' however 'more holes = less cheese'. On the other end of the scale a .50 calibre Beowulf rifle (maybe full auto) blows holes in anything but the kickback is so massive you can rarely hit a target more than once.

Best video I've seen of this yet lol. I'd say, once your health starts depleting, go for the run and attack, and/or just throw some gadgets. Battinson did that too in the final fight.

@@kongmengyang1098 No batarangs yeah lol but he did have smoke bombs, glover taser, two grapnel guns/batclaws built into his suit, explosives and a bat shaped utility knife on his chest. Oh and the stimulant/adrenaline/venom too. There's also the computer linked camera contact lenses which were close to detective mode.
Arkham knight is legitimately one of the best games ever made
Biggest downside was the tank battles. Way too many. Especially Deathstrokes fight. I was so disappointed to find out that Slade was a tank battle.

I think they confused batman for superman in terms of the ability to survive things in this movie. He's shot like 9,000 times, flies head-first into a bridge at terminal velocity followed by smashing into a few cars, takes a bomb at point-blank range, and walks it off like he scraped his knee.

😂😂😂 its about time we see an accurate one. Most people who post "how I play after seeing the batman" just post video of them regularly playing arkham and doing absolutely nothing that happened in the batman movie
I loved The Batman but i really didn't like how they made his suit completely invulnerable and removed a lot of the stealth aspects of the character, he's basically more Terminator than Batman in the fight scenes. That's my only main complaint really.
Yeah he's practically superhuman in that suit. People will claim because he gets hurt that shows he's human but in reality if that fall in the movie didn't kill or seriously injure him, he would still be unable to get out of bed for a few weeks. Just ask any sports player.
Normally you would think all guns are equally lethal but faster guns can also be weaker in terms of calibre, the goons are full auto blasting him but it barely seems to register. Smaller rounds can be shot off faster than larger rounds since there's less force behind it but you also have less stopping power in each round. You might consider it in the sense of 'less pew = more pews per second' but the swiss cheese paradox also has a similar paradigm: 'more cheese = more holes' however 'more holes = less cheese'.
On the other end of the scale a .50 calibre Beowulf rifle (maybe full auto) blows holes in anything but the kickback is so massive you can rarely hit a target more than once.
