Weather can affect this lake's catch results along with bait and presentation. Make sure you don't go too much over depth for increased bites. Any questions feel free to ask. Tight lines!
Thank you! It was a learning curve. Place I usually fish, Carp love the margins, but not here it seems! Ducks don’t help🤯 Found fishing shallower out by the islands were most productive for bites, even though the only one I hooked took me under and snagged me up. Lovely lake though, very surprised to get that eel😲 Will be back, I think probably armed with a heavier pellet Waggler and pellets next time!
@@LolsFishingAdventures Good choice! pellets produce the carp. You will get them in the margins but need to feed. They tend to come in close morning / tea time.
It’s an interesting lake. Obviously quite well fished, Carp cruising on surface all afternoon very hookshy, ones by the island seemed game if you could get a bait close to it.
Depends whether you’re talking about permit prices (very cheap), or tackle required (very expensive!) You don’t need to go overboard with tackle, just start with the basics and build slowly. Day tickets are anywhere from about £5 a day (you also need a Rod License for anywhere in England).
Enjoyed that! Well done both of you.
Thanks Paul. Interesting day to say the very least! 👍
Well done lads. Looks a canny place. Might have to come with you next time 😉 great Common Jamster 👏

Try a method feeder by the islands that's how you catch more by the islands
@@LolsFishingAdventures and pellet on a waggler will get you carp closer in if you feed on the spot
@@fishinglad24 will try both of those. Thanks👍
@@LolsFishingAdventures no problem best of luck to you

Great channel, Craig showed me, that eel is terrifying ha ha
It was a bit lively and slimy, definitely NOT giving it toon in my landing net😂
