If you went the other direction you would have stayed in the rows making it easier. Really cool machine.
I really like this technology where I can buy this machine can you please advice me thank you
I just use an eighty pound johnston bar to pop up tile, then a floor scraper to pop up what grout stuck to the floor. It worked well. Tho this does look alot nicer than the floor scraper I used, how is it with a wood substrate?
So stress reliving 😮

Hi,fantastic,I wish you could do my place.super, thanks for posting.
All that beautiful blue stone.....ergh!
Wicked rig! I want! But those tiles were not bonded...
John Bagi you got that right. Nobody wants to back butter tiles.
this comment is so fucking dumb who butters backs of tiles like bricks, hmmm, yall so fuckn stupid, you obviously arent BONDED in construction period
Stillmin Stilldoit To answer your question, professionals backbutter. Any other belligerent run-on rambles "yall" have to offer?
hmm every tile i laid was never BUTTERED, and my work is professionally DONE! no matter what YALL do when you REMOVE it wont PULL up the mortar with it, how many BRICKS YALL remove the SAME WAY? did the MORTAR STAY STUCK TO IT WHEN YOU REMOVED IT TOO, or just a tiny bit, NOW PLEASE HAVE A SEAT IN THE DUMB SECTION OF THE STADIUM>>>>>>>>>>>>>> (0)

A self proclaimed professional, good work big guy. The tiles in this video were not bonded. My tiles do not come up in full pieces, instead in tiny bits. You're the only one in the stadium and the walls are padded
Great machine, but still a brute to operate, they need to come up with a self-propelled unit😎
What about the thinset
Floor scraper....have fun
Pretty sure the machine can remove thinset no problem
wouldnt it be easier and faster in the perpendicular direction with straight runs?!!!
I think I’m going to need one that I can get away with less pushing than that one showed, My back!!!!! Ouch!
These ceramic tiles come up easy, nothing more than a long handle scraper and a room is done in 5 minutes. Try it with regular tile.
None of those tiles had a modified latex mortar adhered; so if you were on your knees doing it by hand, they'd come up just as fast. Those tiles came clean off. The mortar adhered well to the floor will take time; but will eventually and not from that machine.
Thanks for your comment. It does remove mortar. Check this out: ua-cam.com/video/2gCx2Mc6ZEY/v-deo.html
Spot on. .. what a FAKE video to push out . . Infact its made me not Rent/Buy one wahahaha

lol if tile came off that easy all the time you wouldn't even need the tool
No doubt thats a botch tile job they shoud not pop out whole like that you can see the transfer is minimal on flipped over tiles

But, the deal is you need at least 2 or 3 Mexicans to equal one, non Mexican.....
Gallitopcr8 Ah but the wall is coming!

It's a lot faster and easier to just whack each tile up one by one with 10 people and then send the tiles to a re-use store or clean them up and sell them yourself for extra project funds. Stop sending good materials to the landfill.

I just used a jackhammer trolley for the first time today (different brand than this, but similar). It was a rental from Home Depot and they rent it for 4 hours or all-day. They have 3 separate charges- for the trolley, hammer and chisel blade. The HD I went to had 3 full units in stock and staff was very helpful and switched out an old worn blade for a sharp new one. This machine definitely helps, but it's still grueling work and the machine is large, heavy and awkward. The power cord always seemed to get in the way. Rolling and maneuvering it is a pita esp. if you're working in a small area. Wear ear protection! Eye protection is a no-brainer, but these things are LOUD. You're going to have to make multiple passes to get all the tile and mortar off and get a smooth finish. For my situation, I found that a lower angle on the initial pass worked best. Making the angle more steep seemed to help with the mortar. For the final pass I was holding the unit almost vertically, and past the point that has a locking point. This was the most tiring part but it worked the best. Also, slowing down the speed setting seemed to help with the mortar.
Thanks for the feedback Matt! Hope you got the job finished!
@@makinex Yep. Finished the job (~60sf of ceramic tile) in about 2 hours. It was a workout, but this machine definitely made a HUGE difference! I can't believe I initially thought I could do it all with a hand held rotary hammer and 1" chisel bit haha.
@@mathuff5 So glad it helped Matt! I bet it saved your back a bit too :)
Good for rooms over 20m2...couldn't use it in a bathroom. Length of machine + angled human to push it.
С хорошим клеем такой фокус не выйдет
The tile almost always comes up that fast or faster but it's the thin set mortar underneath that's a b****

How to remove tiles correctly for selling.
Wec have big demand in market for tiles, Egypt , Japan and many other country community know how to make design on tiles, tiles will become new.
Tiles have stone powder, stone when heated expand and become loosen, I am sending you the link how to heat it.
Another way to heat the tiles is make boiling hot water spread on tiles, heat will go inside tiles to make it hot wait for 15 minutes to 30 minutes . After 20 to thirty minutes strat removing it.
Tiles cement will become loosen.
For machine, you must put slightly heavyweight on blade to bend towards floor. Don't insert blade on tiles but go back in reverse direction a bit....and press on floor. Damage the floor instead of tiles. You will understand by practice.
Press slightly on floor some distance from tiles, blade will enter from floor towards tiles...By practice we can collect all tiles in good shape.
First hot water or hot flame
Second pressing on floor.
After removing tiles, back side cement remain attach.
The back side cement will become loosen using hot flame or hot water.
After cleaning we can redesign the tiles.
If some new process recycling tiles is available in market then don't do it.
Purchasing tiles for home is luxurious dreams for many people.

Sorry cobbers but I reckon them tiles would have come up just as quick with a hammer and bolster....it's a fail ya dingos
Cool machine .. Needs more work doh!
What machine is this?
What about the glue? Does it works ?? Looks a shit
Workhorse 1000 will be faster
what a shitty job of applying the mortar. those roles would come up with normal traffic. looking at that guy trying to push the tool through with brute force reminds me of a polack joke. rental fees would have been waaay less on a crowbar or a wood chisel and ball pein hammer. Hell, why not use a screwdriver??
roles--> tiles
Why was my dude wearing a ski mask?
this was fun to see

Noticed most of the tiles are coming up full-size then it wasn't a very good job in the first place you probably didn't need to waste money and time on this machine
Si pero no le falta algo a esa maquina para terminar de ser practica

Why you do this? Just you want a hand and hammer 😂😂
How good is it to remove the thin-set?
i love it , hahah !
Not bad. I just did it. Much faster than a chisel and hammer I promise you.
Force on an sds hammer isn't exactly the way to go.
Waoh this is great.i thought it's not possible to remove floor tiles without breaking .but now I know.

bosch chipping hammer i can see it under that front metal sheet, that bit works awsome on carpet for idiots that put glue under their rugs... good job..👍
Thanks David!
Yeah the tiles come up easy with a crow bar too. Now take up the mortar and I'll be impressed. We rented one of these once. Tiles came right up, the mortar did now. We ripped the whole floor out.
Hi David. I'm sorry to hear you weren't able to lift the mortar as the Makinex Jack Hammer Trolley should also enable this. Please let me know if you like one of our specialist teams to come out and show you how. Check this video out: ua-cam.com/video/2gCx2Mc6ZEY/v-deo.html. Thanks again for your feedback!
