How to use:
-Make sure the character is equiped with the "Special" passive skill and have enough CG (Combination Gauge) power
-Hold the Damage Break button (the default is L) after using a arte
I must say, these are the most coolest Hi-Ougi's I've seen in a Tales game, with some awsome new attacks.

Beryl has maxed soma link (affection) with everyone, then in battle with 100% CG and EG hold A for twinkle stars, B for mix master and Y for princess of mermaid

Many characters are named after materials.
Materials and flowers are the main themes in this game
Two translation projects were started not so long ago: Crimson Nocturnal and Kajitani-Eizan.
I guess they would have some progress in the months to come, enough to make a beta or something

In Tales of Eternia the healer isnt Farah O-o it is Keele or Meredy (depending who has Undine equipped).
Regardless here the healers are the Hearts brothers, Kohak and Hisui.
Hisui has First aid, Cure, Raise Dead, Nurse and Recover as aid spells
Kohak has Heal, Raise Will, Ressurection and Healing Circle as aid spells.
It just does over the top damage. But in ToDr the extensions did give a 100K exp boost like in Eternia and Rebirth.
Beryl is the kiddest to know ownage-style better, of course, Arche will always be the most ownage mage (for me), but yeah, Harold and the Thunder-force from Rebirth knows extensions too (Kyle either, but not as MA)
you need his cameo item.
For beryl you need 2nd playthrough, beryl has max affection with everyone and in battle when she has 100% EG and CG, do crazy comet, hold A for twinkle stars, B for mix master and Y for princess of mermaid

Mokou is a fire-user, while the "athletic Kaguya" you mentioned (Kohak) is also a fire-user. If you notice, all of Kohak's ougi (not tokugi) puts everything in fire. Her offensive spells also focuses on Fire Artes (and Light).
Mokou may have approved of this video, but she is quite pissed off because Kohak resembles Kaguya's "illegal clone" with a sheer amount of fire overheat attacks just like Mokou herself. :P
In English, it'd fit better because the second part of Final Fury translates to something like "Now! Cherry Blossoms! Next! This is my...Final Fury!"
Kohak is a hybrid between rod fighting (GOOD rod fighting), mage and healer
Lol yeah. I normally not much of a fan of Mokou's theme but this remix is really good. Remilla's was good too especially for Beryl at the end XD
My favorite is Innes. Such OP character. Specifically, Physique rouge + angel rosee = immortal.
Plus she says "Korin Kyupiin", never "comets" in the first part, "kyupiin" is a sound, like YAY or WOOT or WEE XD
And she says "dream comets" literally, so that has to be kept intact
i cannot help but wonder if harold or beryl would have the better vrsion...i like how beryl actually says things like 'once more!' kinda thing^_^

And both have inmense physical power (Raine just shows it briefly in her punishments, too strong for battle)
When Shing starts his Hi Ougi, it sounds like he's saying, "¡Buenos Dias!"
Yep you can do Hi Ougis by pressing Arte+ Attack button. I think you can do it like this in ToDr too.
It'd fit Kunzite better if he said "Destroy all who stand before me."
He also has violent thoughts. Shura Engokusatsu translates to "Infernal Carnage"
Well, inherit 15 of every material and you can get them back pretty fast. Actually before midways through game you will have last evolution somas
There's a difference between 15 hit combo escapes and 30-70 hit combo escapes.
In Graces you can easily do a full CC combo without worrying about escaping. In Xillia it doesn't translate the same.
Not really, long extensions are common on team destiny games.
In ToDr they were the secret BCs (though they didnt extend after each other), in TOD2 it was the crazy comet extension, in ToR it was blue earth and in ToE it was maxwell.
Lets hope graces has its own extensions!

Also, these are some of the coolest characters I've seen since Vesperia. Hisui is a dual bow user, Innes a big-ass blade and Kunzite with his bizarre robot moves, I even like the herione Kohak( and it's rare that I like the female leads in the Tales series.
What class would Kohak be, a fighter?
@EyrieKun If you still don't know, it's a skill you learn at level 5 which will need 30 of the same type of lower tier Psistone, according to their respective elements.
Each color has its owns et of "final somas", the color is defined by the color you used the most.
Mostly they are the same... but you have to choose between 2 in any color set, and both have an unique arte.
So you will miss an arte D:

An odd thing is that I was just in a battle and accidentally activated Shing's Hi Ougi without hitting L. I think I hit A+B but I'm not sure.
Kunzite second cut in = Will murder you now. His facial expression displays it.

Speaking of Symphonia, doesn't Ines look as if Raine had a sister who was her polar opposite? (you know, with Raine being strict and to the point, while Ines is gentle and motherly?)
And while on the subject of twins, Rishia Katreya reminds me of Mion and Shion from "When the Higurashi Cry."
I bet that Beryl knew it first, then Harold was taught and improved on it, just because she's Harold.

There is such an amazing difference between the original "Profile Gif" animations and the Fully Rendered 3D Model ones from the "R" Remake for the PSGo.
These are definitely exciting, while the remake's was... well it had more "Umph!" If you know what I mean? :) What do you guys think?
I know, I thought it stood for types like Fire and Wind. But then i realized i gave out at MOST 1 arte if none.
So now I usually pick whichever side gives out "balanced" of all skills. Usually green...

Look at it this way. If they decide to really do the Hearts R thing, we can focus on getting that localized that instead.

did you know that every special move that has goku on its name is awesome and powerful take Kunzite ougi for example
I know all the main characters are named after gemstones or rocks of some kind.

Ah, you're right. Although it sounded really similar to Remilla's theme right after Chalcedony's Hi Ougi. l_l
There isn't an option in the Grade shop to inherit your artes? D= If so, then I'd think you would only need to play through once more to get that missing arte.
Also, just because I'm lazy, what's Shing's unique Arte for the green?

Anyways, I find it ironic that Mokou's remixed theme is used here when one of the characters looks A LOT like an athletic Kaguya.

when is the earliest soma build level i ccan get hi-ougi's accessible?...shuold i go with the red, blue or green soma build paths to get it btw?
(i'm mastering each soma level before i upgrade, and aside from shing, my party(all but kohak and kunzite) are at soma level 3 or 4 ^_^')
You should go blue all the way and pick some green choices when you see a nice support skill.
Green doesnt give you enough parameter skills but gives you all the support and battle skills.
And many support skills suck balls (Stagger time reduced by 5%, wtf)
@Darkbreezee Well at least we get all the fun translating and learning Japanese and/or not giving a damn about language just to play these games.
But just wait, we'll create an awesome RPG game series in a language unknown to japanese and release just one or two games in japanese which will be a poor localization to make them feel what we do with the tales series.
