- So many of us have magazines and books with great Applique Designs. Did you know that you can scan the design and build the Appliqué with My Design Center?

Thank You for this. I've been making some applique designs doing these steps, but wishing I could get the zig zag type stitch after cutting away the excess fabric. Now I know, thanks to you- I need to use the bean stitch and make adjustments as you did. I always learn so much when I watch your videos.
I always wondered how to make applique and... WOW, you made looks so easy!
Thanks Terry
Thank you Terry. As always, a great tutorial and much appreciated. 😃
Thank You Terry for another informative video
Excellent job explaining how to make an applique.
Wouldn’t it be nice if Brother did an update to allow IQ designer to know if you were making an applique design? Like a check box we could click so that we wouldn’t have to do all those steps after we scan in our design?
Great tutorial! Thank you for all of your help!
Thank you! I picked up the septs I was mussing to do thus. I have a Laundry Baskets quilt that I want to add my appliqué this way. ❤🎉❤
Thanks, I love your lessons!
Something that looks complicated, wow! when you do a tutorial... is sew easy to understand! Thanks 😊
Wonderful. Thank you terry.
Thank-you so much!

Would you be able to post the finished applique please? I would like to see how the handle looks. Thank you. I really enjoyed this video.
👍
I have a quilt kit that has laser cut gingerbread men to be fused on to a block. Is there a way to scan the block once the gingerbread man is fused on so I can get a stitch to also sew down the fused applique ?
Leah Geary - you would follow this technique-
It looks like a complicated process. Isn’t it easier to do on a computer in PE Design? What are some examples of when to use each methods? Thanks for all your videos.
Do you have a video on how to due applique for more than one object?
Does thus also work on the DREAM machine 2
Jeffery Yasenchok - you can scan and create the Appliqué with the Dream Machine. You may have to set each part and save it to the embroidery memory instead or choosing return. I need to
Test it.
@@terrymaffitt4012 thank you for the reply I'm very intrested if you find out any more info
I'm trying to follow these instructions-even made a list of steps if anyone wants them. However, when I get to 12:03, Terry's machine shows a stitch out button that does not appear on mine. Any suggestions? I have a Luminaire 1-thank you.
I find that if I click on a smaller size hoop I do not get a stitch out, but when I clicked on the biggest hoop I did get a stitch out. I do not know why that is. I was embroidering a drawing I had made on the screen (not very good, my first attempt) and wanted to know the order, but couldn’t do it. I was using a 6 x 6 hoop. Do not understand why that is. To get the stitch out there is a hoop sign in top right hand corner which you have to click on but as I said only on the bigger size. Hope this makes sense.
Any chance you still have the instructions for this? or any of her tutorials? I am brand new to my machine and would love a printout. Thank you!
