Guys Next Door is an American television series aired on NBC in the 1990-1991 season as part of its Saturday morning lineup. It featured a boy band performing comedy sketches and spoofs, as a combination of New Kids on the Block with The Monkees. The show starred Patrick J. Dancy, Eddie Garcia, Bobby Leslie, Damon Sharpe and Chris Wolf.
As a band, the group was signed to SBK/EMI records with a lone self-titled album, which spawned a Billboard Hot 100 single, "I've Been Waiting for You".
The Guys Next Door still have several fan websites and most of the group's music videos from the show are on UA-cam.
While Wolf and Leslie dropped out of the public eye after the show ended, Dancy and Garcia are still active as actors. Sharpe is currently a music producer and songwriter who has worked with such talents as Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue, Anastacia, Kelly Rowland, Big Time Rush, New Boyz and Monica.
Eddie Garcia's groundbreaking music video, television, live appearances, and tour credits include Janet Jackson, principal performer for three world tours with Michael Jackson, as well as appearances with Jennifer Lopez, Sheryl Crow, and Paula Abdul, among many others. Eddie has done it all from stage, to film and television such as RENT, Eve, Moesha, The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, and The Today Show, to commercials for Subaru, Miller Beer, and B.U.M. Equipment. He has been a Creative Director and choreographer on multiple projects for Jennifer Lopez, as well as the choreographer for the feature film Bringin' Down The Houze, and the bands Velvet Angels and Jane’s Addiction.

Eddie was incredible. First on Star Search then on tour with Michael Jackson and then this--I was here for it.

@@SeanWarren He's not incredible he is just really good. And he is not that successful. He really cant compare to Michael or Janet Jackson. They both sold about 150 million records. Eddie only sold about 10 million with his group. I met him and shook his hand in the Maryland area.
