Like you said it's better to have more options for the Birkin or Kelly for your SA to work with, then just one option of a bag. I did that for my first Birkin, and it took me more than five months to get it. However, I would not change the way that I did it because I'm so happy for the bag I received even though it took awhile to get the bag. I know so many people who have purchased designer items simply for the name and don't actually use it! I had an sa however she wasn’t pleasant to deal with and ignored my emails. When I asked her about an item I really wanted. I let her know I didn’t appreciate being ignored and I would order online. I’m now looking for a new SA you should always go with your gut. If they are not invested as you are in building the relationship please change sa. Don’t settle for less when you spend a lot of money.
