I’m slowly phasing out primers from my routine. I only need one smoothing one and that’s it. I can’t be bothered with that step when I already have so many layers going on. SPF is my last step before foundation and that’s what I consider my primer😬
I’m here for the primers! In my minimal days I used up a full size Tatch primer in the putti like version. I not a primer girlie but I’ve found a proper primer that I like in One Size secure the Blur and CT flawless filter .Neithet doesn’t dry or break me out, it mattifies and works well with the products I use. I’m a fellow dry skin girlie. I’m also acne prone. I prefer creams as primers. Love the CT magic and water cream, Bobbie Brown face base. I also really like the One Size secure the blur. I like this one specifically during summer. I also really like the MAC hyperreal skin canvas balm. CT also has a sunscreen/ primer hybrid I really like. With the exception of this one all the other products mention work well together! I have another primer from one size and a couple from MAC primers I wouldn’t mind trying. Also the DM and Huda Beauty primer. I really wish these brands would offer minis. Primers can be expensive especially if they don’t work out. I’m still on the search for sunscreens that won’t break me out, and wear nicely under makeup. Love Fenty hydravisor the original but I’m think it may break me out ( not 100% sure) as I mentioned I like the CT sunscreen/ primer product but it’s finicky and again it may break me out. I like the Sheisedo sunscreen but I don’t love it under makeup. I prefer it on its own. I’ve tried super goop it super breaks me out, the milk primer also tore my skin up. Love the YSL NU Skin Tint.
I also have dry/dehydrated & somewhat acne prone skin. I'm allergic to most chemical sunscreens & they cause severe intolerable itching, followed by a breakout. I haven't found too many primers or sunscreens that I love. As far as primers go, I really like the Bobbie Brown face base, Glowish honey balm & a few by Touch in Sol. I love the TiS Pretty Filter glassy skin balm & waterful glow cream in summer when my skin isn't as dry. For primers with SPF, I really love the Skin 1004 Hyalu-Cica Water Fit Sun Serum. It's a great Korean SPF 50+ PA++++ that is a wonderful lightweight moisturizer/primer/SPF that gives us dry skin girlies a hint of glass skin effect. Despite it being a chemical/mineral spf hybrid, it's never been anything but good for my skin. I get it on Amazon for around $15 for a 1.69oz. tube. My favorite tinted mineral spf primer is Bare Minerals Prime Time Daily Protecting Primer. It's spf 30 & nicely evens out my skin tone & reduces the appearance of texture, like a light coverage foundation. Anyways, I thought since we have similar skin types & preferences I'd mention some different options you might want to look into. 💜
Right I haven't watched this yet but saw the ysl primer & thought please God don't declutter this it's my holy grail & we have similar skin concerns! Ps for anyone id recommend the Lawless forget the filler primer for any skin concerns - makeup just glides on & it doubles up as a moisturiser x
These declutter videos have been so satisfying to watch especially getting a recap on your favorites that a lot of people may not know! Thanks Patty.

Laura mercier canvas primer is really good for dry skin hydrating and light weight
Amazing job girl!
I agree about the NU line. Love YSL usually.
Thanks for the candor about Auric. That’s a tough one.
I love my glowish blur jam primer to blur my pores , I found pushing into the skin instead of rubbing or swiping works amazing . You don't need much
The Denssa one so you use it more like a fondation or primer
Hi patty, I enjoyed watching this video, I think it’s great that have high end & drugstore in your primer collection. Love Katherine xoxo
Why do I own so many primers?! Wtf! Love the “favorite counter” in every declutter video. Cracks me up 😂😂
I never wear primers, I just use my skincare and sunscreen as a primer. I tried using them in the past but they never did anything
I love this video ❤
