The second of our energy systems; anaerobic glycolytic system.
I hope you find it helpful. Let me know if you have any more questions about it.

Well done mate: I especially appreciate you taking the time to teach that Lactic Acid really is easily converted to Hydrogen ions and Lactate, and that it is the Hydrogen ions accumulating in the blood that gives us that 'sick feeling" during prolonged intense effort, while Lactate is recycled for more energy production. Putting an end to the "Lactic Acid" myth that was befuddling exercise physiologists years ago who were measuring vey high levels of lactate production by elite athletes whose muscles were not shutting down.

What I did get from this video, in the cycle of energy production, where Glucose is broken to produce energy the efficency of the process depends on some chemicals in body,. Is there a special diet or food that can help us in this or all of this process is inherent and depends on our DNA.

Great question. We will talk a little more about that in next weekends video about the aerobic energy system.
This anaerobic energy system can be trained through exercise so it happens faster (anaerobic power) and for longer (anaerobic capacity).
