Suomeksi:
Stalkermusic Interviews -sarjan neljännessä osassa melodinen deathmetal -yhtye Insomnium kertoo bändin synnystä, keikkailusta, uudesta Across the Dark -albumista sekä ennustaa tulevaisuutta. Haastateltavina Kotkan Kairossa olivat yhtyeen kitaristit Ville Friman ja Ville Vänni. Nauttikaa ja levittäkää sanaa Stalkermusicin ja Insomniumin nimissä...
Amazing guys.
Ville's got a good point. Most bands now adays don't make good music, there's no feeling in the music. They just make it and put it out there.
They are so down to earth... and I can understand what they mean.
Last september I saw them live, frontrow. I could touch Niilo his feet :P More important, i could just feel the passion in their play, and read it from their faces. They really do what they like. To bad that they are so underrated and unknown, but maybe that is what still makes them so pure.
Best band ever, period.
Insomnium is so awesome. My blood brother came to their gig last December in Paris, and then came home and said: "I watched, saw, listened to Insomnium, now I can die without regret." :D
I hope that they will come to San Diego, US someday. I really want to see their gig.
I love Ville Friman
They better not stop playing until I see them live.
great interview and perfectly chosen questions!
...when you're on top (the Biggest, the Best), you can say almost everything about the rest..
Fucking love you guys! Your music purses through my veins
exactly.
I think he means that no bands touch him because they are concentrating on being famous, not that he thinks its more important to be famous than it is to make good music
you what's awesome ?
DT and Ins. are my favourite bands
and they're coming to Belgium (where I live) on my fucking birthday :D
he said that meaning that most bands nowadays are more intrested in becoming famous than making good music, and that's why those band's releases didn't touch him in any way. he was saying insomnium was making good music, Against The Stream of most mainstream music, and bands only focused on creating hits, not music.
He means that nowadays many bands think that it's more important to be famous than to make great music. Which, of course, is not a good thing.
Greetings from Slovakia !!
Yeah, olin keikalla kotkan kairossa\m/
is that Kai Hahto i spy at 5:43?
How about you tour Australia.
Now that's an idea =D
Yeah, what the guy said. He means most bands out there are now aiming to get famous, instead of playing. The bands aren't even putting effort in to their music any more. Tons of melodic death metal bands do nothing except for rip off Judas priest's pain killer style riffs (and have EMG pickups installed to pull that one of) with hardcorish growls. Then we have the wave that rips off power metal's fast pace, with keyboards set to bells or tight strings with Kalmah style vocals. Absolutely no try.
