      At least they can do anticipate for "miss/fake translation".
      For example: "merde" yikes! I thought it was the flowers kind name in French, and many other as "vaffanculo" does as "greetings" in Italian (darn no!) I was too naïve for it man!

    Spanish is already very passionate that it sounds like flirting by default. Mi amor, mi vida, mi corazon, mi tesoro are all things family has called me. So if you want to flirt in Spanish. Just regularly learn Spanish

      That's one of the flaws of Spanish. You can't really tell if they're flirting or just trying to be nice. And there's so much touching, hugging, and kissing going on.

    To all the spanish speakers out there, if you ever hear a filipino offer you Puto, it’s a delicious rice cake in tagalog, they are not insulting you they are asking you if you want a snack.

      That's interesting considering the heavy Spanish influence in Tagalog

      I would be absolutely confused if someone offered me that 😂 cause to us, that word is the male version of man hoe, and it can also mean gay in a derogatory way, and I would just like- huh? You offering me a man? 😂😂

      now that we have filipinos on holostars, i could imagine that it would be more chaotic with all the awkward use of certain words

    Listening to Hakka talk about how complimenting a girl's smile in Spanish can sound sleazy has me thinking about how the phrase "protecting her smile," especially in the anime and VTuber contexts, can sound weird and how it's sounded weird to me. Like, when it isn't weird, it's usually when it's a joke or when a couple I find really cute and fitting lovingly uses it on each other.
    As for that use of "cabeza," as far as I remember the use of that word, I imagine "Captain Dong" would be a fitting localization.

    • @mayushark5609
      @mayushark5609  Рік тому +31

      It depends on how you say it and what kind of relationship you have with the person, but protection her smile, which translates as "proteger su sonrisa" has the same use as the English phrase so is not really weird to say it, specially in the anime community

    As someone who lives in South America (Brazil), my language sounds a lot like Spanish, and I'll tell you, I never thought I'd laugh so hard at someone trying to teach someone else "cabeza de pija" without almost having a thing.
    I affectionately call this phrase "cabeça de pika", which is mentioned in 4:05 of the video. I laughed too much.
