- First: Wait I thought you already did a Seven Nation edit! I did in 2017 and I hate it and for some reason it has over a million views. I thought I would redo it since the editing is bad and there were barely any women of color. I'm an Asian American woman and I know what it's like not seeing yourself represented in media. The editing community also has this problem and it's not okay. I am guilty of it so I am changing and I encourage other editors to so as well. If you just like to watch edits I ask that you start to ask and speak up about the lack of people of color and other minorities in other edits.
Second BLM: www.pb-resources.com is a link to a website coded by a black woman to help the Black Lives Matter movement. Silence is not an option. The website has lists of petitions, donations, and educational information and recommendations like movies and books. I have a small platform but it is a platform so I will use it to help BLM however I can. You can not stay ignorant. I grew up ignorant to the systematic racism in our government, society, and criminal justice system but I did the research and learned. It is your job to learn too so you can teach others. We all have privileges. We can't help what and who we are born into and as BUT we can use our privilege to help others less so. If you don't use your privilege to help you are a part of the problem and must instead become a part of the solution. Black Lives Matter yesterday, today, tomorrow, and forever.

Yes, I've noticed that in edits it's predominantly white women. It actually bothered me, but knowing I'm not the only one to notice (thus, it wasn't in my head), and the fact you actually did something about it, filled me with joy. I enjoyed this edit thoroughly. Thank you

I asked on editor whose multi vid had 9 women of color out of 40 characters to in the future add more women of color and she said “well I edit the shows I watch and I don’t watch a lot of shows with black women.” I told her that it isn’t hard to watch more 😂. And she said it wasn’t that deep. I would encourage you to start asking creators you watch to try harder.
Why does it matter what color they are or race I mean they are. All just storing independent woman and it does not matter the color I mean come on with all the stuff going on in the world right know you are mad that there are not enough colored women they are just all women no matter the race , color so stop and I love this vid because it makes me fell more strong and independent
Elizabeth Ernspiker representation matters in every form! I love getting to see people who look like me because growing up I never did. It matters because being a woman shapes who you are and being a woman of color REALLY shapes how you are treated in the world and who you are. If color didn’t matter I would see significantly less women of color in video edits, movies, books, and other art. But I do see less of us and because of that it does matter. I can be mad/passionate about multiple things at a time. It does not take away from the other issues I am passionate about. I can’t control a lot of those things but I can control this. Saying things like “I don’t see color” misses the point because being a woman of color does matter to the other people and it matters to our stories. Ignoring an issue does not make it and it’s history go away
What I meant was the color of people's skin should not matter I understand we don't see a lot of colored people but I don't see it as being colored I see it as being just another human we are all the same and it kills me to see what people do to colored people because they are just like us so what I meant is that we are all humans we all bleed when we get hurt . So I don't understand why every on always makes it about black or white skin color should not matter because colored are just like white we all are the same no matter what skin tone

Tysm for including black women in your edits, it got to a point where i would count how many black women I see (focally) in edits and it’s always less than three, it made me fall of watching multi female edits. This means a lot 🤎

this edit is really beautiful, you're really talented and the fact that it includes many black women as well as white ones is great because we need to acknoledge that we are all sisters, determinate and strong and beautiful, wheter is the color of our skin and our nationality.

OH MY GOSH! I loved this. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience as an Asian-American and your story about learning. I also thank you for creating such a diverse and engaging mv. It was absolutely invigorating and exciting to see an edit with SO MANY women of color. Sadly, I've gotten excited and complacent with only seeing 1 WOC for 1-2 seconds in an edit (that's 3-5 min long)... this edit was a nice reminder of what inclusive edits can look like!
I also just LOVED the characters, the fight scenes, and quotes you picked! This edit is hands down one of my favs
I need more Ziyi Zhang (in honestly any movie), more Alita Battle Angel, more Sister Beatrice from Warrior Nun, more Sithandra from Aeon Flux. This edition was phenomenal and inclusive and even included transwomen. Definitely using this to spread girl power hype.
