I thought the same thing. If you don't want to be in my wedding unless you get some special honor, then you don't deserve to be in my wedding at all.

A maid of honor is someone who knows what makes the bride happy and it’s her job to make sure the bride feels fabulous and will do whatever it takes to make her day special

Honestly I think her decision to not have a maid of honour is the best decision because those two women are so petty and catty and neither of them deserve to be maid of honour if that's how they are going to behave together

Before the video even really began and they told the story of the rivalry between the two women, I immediately got a bad vibe from the one in the pink shirt. She was rolling her eyes, her face reeked of jealousy and bitterness. The bride and the other two friends seem so positive. The bride radiates happiness. I don’t care if my friend picked out the ugliest maid of honor/bridesmaid dress (if I ever get to be one), a real friend will be supportive and understand it’s the bride’s day. It’s sad too because you can tell she wants a maid of honor but doesn’t want the childish outbursts by her friends. Just based on this short video, you can tell how sweet the bride is….i don’t know how she puts up with an attitude like that- she’s acting like she’s still in high school and the bride deserves so much better. I mean, pink shirt really said ‘If I’m not the maid of honor, then I’m not gonna be apart of the wedding.’ Ugh.
The moment she said she wouldn’t be in the wedding I would’ve chosen the other girl and told her bye

I think that's a shame she has to not have a maid of honor, but I understand her decision. At the end of the day she didn't need anymore stress then what she already have. I'm glad they both seemed cool about the bride having no MOH. But honestly, I can't imagine having a bridal party like that anyway. Snowflake seems like a sweetheart, and imo she seems like the only one that even deserves bridesmaid status. If two of my bridesmaids couldn't put their differences aside for my big day, I'd say they could both be guests instead. Y'all don't have to like each other, but there's no need to be lashing out at each other either.

All those girls talked about were themselves! 'Me' 'me' 'me' not 'bride' 'bride' 'bride'. It speaks volumes.
The bigger issue I am having is: Majority of the brides won't pay for the bridesmaids dresses. And the ladies are stuck with clothes they don't like and have to pay for. I think unless the bride pays for the clothes, she should not demand that a bridesmaid suck it up and pay for clothes she doesn't like. Though it's the brides wedding, it's not her money that's paying for the clothes. If she pays for them, then no complaints should be heard.
I had 2 maids of honor. One was my best friend of 25 years and the other was my cousin. She is like my big sister and a best friend.

In Germany for sure. We usually only have one person as a witness by our side when we go to the town hall for the official wedding. Church weddings usually only have a flower girl and bride and groom walk into the church together for the ceremony.

How about everyone has the same color and material but give everyone the option 2 or 3 styles. Tbh it's the bride decision of what kind of dresses she wants them to wear. All this petty back and forth between these grown women is ridiculous. I'm so blessed that I didn't have to deal with any of this foolishness when I got married. I showed my ladies 2 or 3 patterns and we chose. We got them made and they turned out beautifully.

This was so childish and immature of the other two, and yes it is an honor, and that means being classy, and having the bride's back through everything, even picking the dress. I am afraid those two "friends" will fight over who helps the bride with her dress or who holds her flowers during the ceremony. Without a maid-of-honor, she had better assign those responsibilities equally prior to the ceremony or their rivalry will disrupt her day. Too bad her "friends" don't care more about the bride than themselves.
So this episode is actually old but the bride of this episode ended up saying that the friend who made the comment “If I’m not the maid of honor, I’m not going to be in the wedding” actually ended up not being in the wedding and didn’t even attend.
