Apparently Savadkouhi was injured, but Usmanov is a dog either way. Jordan is a tough match up for anyone because of his tactics. He sits at edge of mat and grounds action. To me the officials need to get involved. If Usmanov let's a bout unfold like that and officials don't get involved, he won't really have a chance. Skill per skill, Usmanov wins though.
@@JOWrestling I did not know that about Savadkouhi, but, to use your phrase, either way it seems that Usmanov has a really tight defensive game, with the typical crotch locks and chest wraps of that school of wrestling. Actually, he reminds me of Akhmed Gadzhimagomedov in that respect. Regarding Burroughs, I kinda don't blame him anymore for the way that he wrestles, he wrestles from a long range because of his build in my opinion (long limbs/short and narrow torso), even though he has been forced to wrestle in the midrange in the last 5-6 years or so. Regardless of the tactics and the refereeing, it would be interesting to witness the scrambles between the two of them, especially Usmanov's defensive reactions and adjustments.
Where are you watching all these amazing Matchups?
Iran Wrestling Federation was streaming and received permission to repost in English.
Given this win, how do you think Usmanov matches up with Burroughs?

@@h.schikhan5850 what leads you to this conclusion?
Ali was not in his best shape
No but he still scored 9 points and exposed in positions he would have lost in even if in top form
