P.S. YOU CAN FEEL THE SADNESS/ LOSS IN THE HOME..😢 LOSING YOUR CHILD IS SOMETHING THAT COULD BREAK ANYONE....SO IT SHOWS THAT $$$$$$ IS NOT EVERY THING THING.....PEOPLE ARE .🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 SHE LOST HER SON.THEN HER HUSBAND. I UNDERSTAND HOW IT WAS TO MUCH...MANY COULDN'T TAKE LOSING YOUR LOVED ONES...VERY WELL DONE❤
Loosing you child is so hard. It's been almost 17 years and it still feels like yesterday we got THAT phone call 😭😭😭RIP Robby we miss you everyday 💔💔
Losing a child is unbearable days once cherished birthday, holidays and family gathering are never the same. Been 16 years that we lost our son to cystic fibrous. Always feels like yesterday and you see something they once loved and you want to call or tell them but you can't 😢😢❤.....
That's the first thought that came to my mind . The sadness that fills that home, it's almost touchable and will haunt the house until it falls down. 😢😢
Such a beautiful home! Such a sad story to bad no family to care for it. It's rotting away. Thanks Dave and crew thanks for taking us with you. Love to all be safe. From Indiana USA 💕
What a magical place , views are so stunning and as usual Dave you and your team are very respectful of the property.
I can almost smell the decay and see how massive the property is , such a shame about the loss of her child 😢
I love France they have such beautiful chateaus out there with original features still in place .
Thank you for a wonderful explore , wish someone would save this home ❤
What a gem of an explore. I love the respect you show and the way you narrate
I know it almost, always happens, but it''s so disappointing to see massive vandalism. I know that I would be clearing things, closing drawers, doors, etc, if I was there, out of respect. It was difficult watching this video because of the disregard some have of others property and possessions.
Whilst you're going round the house the background music is making me feel sad. If you look past all the clutter and decay it's a very beautiful place. They used to lock the bodies in a crypt to stop body snatchers. Thanks for a great video Dave x
Another amazing video David #unbelievable #crazy there you go as mentioned in video 😅 beautiful castle amazing location x
That staircase is breathtaking!❤️. Some really fine pieces of furniture left to decay, Love the piano with the built in candelabras. Thanks for sharing and all you do!❤
You can feel the sadness. Beautiful chateaux take care and stay safe dave xxx
I love the architect of the buildings, the Concrete stair case, and the ceiling in the attic - BEAUTIFUL, no doubt original. The church as well just as beautiful :) Thank you for sharing, Oklahoma City, OK USA.
As a 67 year young woman who used to work on all of my older model cars, that was a timing light that you were holding. I've noticed Dave, you know your cars, and tools and istruments, as I do. Especially, the older models from 48's up to late 70's. I've worked on several older modelsof cars.
Once again, another once upon a time, magnificent home. Abandoned without a care. Dave, I've noticed the last couple of videos you are really rushing through each room. With rapid camera movements and even jerky, at times. I'm probably incorrect, but past videos seemed you weren't in a rush to get through each room. Showing us viewers every important thing and details slowly. Regardless, you are still one of my favorite explorers for many many reasons. Thank you for sharing this home. Sad that the tragedies slowly took away the family members who once made this now deteriorated, scavenged through, desolate, place their home. Looks to me from the color choices and designs perhap some stoned Hindu hippies may have resided within.
Thank you for sharing.
I'm pleased to know that others agree about the differences in the video footage. I'm worried maybe Dave's hurting from his previously injured knee? Only, because I for sure know how pain will change how we interact with life without all the hiking, walking, etc these explorers have to go through. With all due respect to them all. Looks like fun, but, a job is a job whether you enjoy it or not!! I hope Dave is 👍.
Definetly a spiritual room. Wow I love this place. Makes me want to cry to see the children's things left to rot. Great video thankyou ❤️🇦🇺
Wow that place is big wonder view there so sad she lost her child i can't get over how big that place is thanks for another great video dave loving these ❤❤
Loving the musical element throughout the video. It really adds a whole new atmosphere to it. As always, a great video x
What a beautiful old place, I'd have to say my favorite part in this old mansion is the staircase and the chapel, it a shame how some of the stain glass windows are broken. It's a shame how it's left to rot and decay. Thank you for sharing this place, take care.
It is all you said beautiful an incredible thanks Dave for taking us with you Ann 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
I ❤old houses, especially castles! Thanks so much for all your wonderful videos!
So many beautiful things she once cherished she must have a hard life godbless her soul may she rest with her sweet baby boy heartbreaking thsnkyou guys for shareing this and take care and be safe in all you do bless ya both xc x
Such a beautiful place thank you for sharing x
Recently I wake up every morning and It is hard to sleep back. But ur videos are hipnotizing so since I found ur channel i can go back to sleep easily.
Love them all.
Amazing find. I am living vicariously thru your adventures.
Awww this was lovely, I saw the photo of their son, made me feel sad.. I bet that chateau was gorgeous in its time..I loved the staircases. Don't like the decor but liked the rugs on the wall, quite hippy , thank you xx
Thank you for exploring this fascinating place 🙏 keep them coming
Very strong stone building lots of dust and old things nice furniture and nice size rooms lots of lovely land sad son died so young may of had heart problems
So much of the clothing is 1950-1970s and the paint choices on the walls and doors. They were bright colors and eclectic funky designs. Love this especially the 3 rd floor and the oriental designs
5:46 that instrument is called bubul tarang, aka indian banjo, from punjab
This was such a sad story, what a beautiful mansion so much memories lost. Amazing explore Dave, camera was a bit shaky and I know this is an older explore but still enjoyed watching it. 🤘🏼❤️
That tour was the trip of a lifetime for your explores and for us to old and broken to do so ourselves, I don’t think you know how much you give ❤
AMEN!! I love watching a variety of videos on UA-cam because these sports, jobs, hobbies, (all in one) are something I would have LOVED to have done in my younger years. I did go into an old abandoned hotel that had turned into a woman's prison back in the day, way before it was ever popular to video tape the explore. I loved it. It was so suspenseful. I watch JP's exploration videos, as well, when he goes walking in the woods, exploring. Something else I'd still love to do. But, with a broken down body, what's one to do? I know what these awesome dudes explore for us, and we sit home and reminisce when our body parts were functioning normally, without falling down, limping, hobbling, bruising, hurting. Isn't getting old so much fun for many of us? God bless the oldies still out there jogging, riding bikes, doing marathons, hiking. That's where leading a healthy lifestyle gets you, sometimes.
Check out BiBi, the monkey. The cutest, smartest little, precious monkey, ever. He will surely make you 😃 smile.
The sound track that's playing is lovely
Hi Dave been waiting for you to come on iPad .You brighten my Sundays lv Ann 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️
Thankyou Dave what a beautiful place I could really live in there it's really structurally sound it needs new indoor and work on it but if I had the cash I would defensive that. It looked to me like a more Chinese oriental feeling with the artifacts in that room I'm thinking they rented out theatre props and clothes. The instrument when you first walked in looked like part of an accordion with the keys. It had a sad feeling and to see the photo and portrait of the little 8 year old boy broke my heart. The furniture was amazing but the decor was quite whacky I got a 1970s vibe. Again thankyou so much and keep safe xx
Beautiful place such a sad story thanks Dave 👏🏻👍🏻💕
I enjoy your videos. Always so informative. I especially like that you don’t go looking for ghosts. I usually draw the line at ghost hunting. So silly. And I appreciate that you rarely use foul language. Great explore!
Agree 100% , it's such a turn off when some these ytubers drag all these senseless gadgets with looking for ghosts 🙄
The framework in the attic is amazing, that’s why it’s still standing
Hello idol, im very enjoy watching your adventure explore. Always take care
and godbless.🙏🏼♥️
Beautiful. Awesome find. Great decay. Thx for taking me along.
Such an amazing place…wish you would slow down just a little lol everything just whips by so fast can’t really look but love your videos, so fun being taken to so many different places-thanks!
Yeah , he's moving way to fast all shakey camera , walks right past 1000s precious trinkets, I thought we see , nope. Date ? Pick up newspaper or one of those 100s medications bottles 🫣nausea 😵 🤢 from this awful camera movement Sux !!! I wanted to see this Château
Beautiful chateau! Wonderful home could be renovated! Thanks for the peek into such a interesting place!
Hi Dave & the Crew, Chateaus in South of France Abandoned!!😉
What a Beautiful Place it Was Once, & Praying Someone Gets It Soon & Restores It!!😍
So Very Sad, to Loose Their Boy at Age 8 Yrs Old! ☹ Then Sad Again when the Husband Dies,☹ & Wife is Devasted to
Her to Italy & Die in a Month!! ☹
Now Dave You Said, Someone Needs To Shut This Place Up, You Could of Shut Windows That Weren`t Broken & Save It!!😮
I Love the Hindu Room in the Attic!! ❤ Vandalism Came Thru & Threw Clothes & Things On the Floors!! No Respect!!

Love You Loads, Barb from Central Illinois USA💖
Absolutely beautiful country side
Beautiful love all the stairs like the structure of the house so sad it is abandoned and no one saving the contents in it good find dave
Been watching you since the beginning. You’re still the best explorer on you tube x
I can sympathise. I hope things get better for you bud. Keep up the good work and remember your AWE family will always be here supporting you x
Very nice. I've watched you for years and look forward to it. This time you went fast. Maybe just too excited. Can you please slow down a bit so we can see everything? Thanks😊
Hi Dave that was 👍👍👍 nice to see Bucky again as he doesn't explore these days, I hope that you are feeling better Dave, 🙏🙏
Great video Dave what a beautiful place.
Hi Dave beautiful place full of old furniture antiques and loved the staircase it's full of family memories sad on the loss of the child loved the tour and video ❤
Great explore thank you. Loved the staircase
Beautiful house. I felt as if the attic was a work place. The rest was all muddled up. Unsure of this one. Bless. 👍❤️🙏🏻
The place was beautiful! My fingers were itching to get in and start cleaning it
What a beautiful place with some amazing items left x
Back...your knowledge of cars is amazing 👏
Verry nice!,,❤ Petra
What an amazing place shame its been abandoned
Omg this is epic out of this world such sad story finding youre child deceased are godbless her and to walk away with his coat bits and bobs and wedding ring heartbreaking cant imagine bless her xx
A beautiful, dusty old place, but it still retains it's character. I'm pretty sure someone would love to obtain and restore that Fiat in the garage!
I loved your intro Dave, very sad story and I thought the music was very fitting.
It's such a beautiful home I have always wanted to explore old abandoned places it's been my dream
one day i hope to see this stunning place of france, and explorer it,thank you for letting us in to your world ,we all one day will see this beautiful world .just get up and do it,we can all do it so thank you dave for letting us see this wonderful explore,🙏
Interesting Chateau but a sad story of the family. The chapel was an added bonus.
Wowwww absolutely gorgeous place! Thank you for these awesome, beautiful videos 💜❤💜
Amazing place and such a sad story, but it's a great video. I hope that place gets saved.
What a amazing chateau in a beautiful location just love that stair case thank you and the gang for yet an amazing find respect to you all can't wait for the next one ❤
The musical instrument looks similar to an autoharp.
❤David I truly live all your amazing videos 📹 they are totally awesome & beautiful love you loads
Love and appreciate your videos Dave, you Beautiful soul.
Vey interesting home. Amazing explore!
As much as I love going through older buildings this one is certainly depressing.
Looks like multiple families lived here, and no one really cared for the building
WHAT A BITTERSWEET BACK STORY....TRAGIC ..SUCH A BEAUTIFUL CHATEAU. ❤ YOU DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON THIS VIDEO🎉 ❤ FROM CALIFORNIA CALIFORNIA ❤🎉🎉🎉GORGEOUS. I HAVE BEEN TO FRANCE....SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PLACE.....THANK YOU FOR EXPLORING IT..❤ TO MANY PEOPLE ARE DOING PARANORMAL STUFF....THIS IS HISTORIC...❤❤❤❤ EPIC ❤🎉
Lovely tour. Well done.
wow that stream sounds lovely love big house omg them stairs its a shame all the stuff has been left behide that hindo room is amazeing
Great video sad though 😊
Awesome video mate, such a sad story same as you so emotional
This place gives me a very 60's 70's hippie place, like an Audrey Hepburn living in France and children running around naked and free, painting, drawing, reading, etc. sort of home.
Sigo no Instagram e só agora vi aqui no UA-cam. Mais uma inscrita!❤
Fantastic! Gorgeous chateau. Thanks Dave. 👏👍🩷
Awesome place thanks I enjoyed it watching
hi Dave and guys good to see you hope you guys be safe out there 🙏🙏🙏🙏 this house is a little creepy 😱😱 good to hear about the story of the place nice video sad about the family and everything in side I look forward to watching your videos you are so amazing you do a great job on your videos you make my day you are so funny sometimes ❤️ you guys be careful
Absolutely incredible. I've been watching you from the beginning, and you're still magnificent. I have one other comment---if you don't mind. You're intros are great, but the music is a little too loud over your words. This is just in the intro. Keep exploring. FYI I live in the US, State of Alabama.
i always enjoy watching your video's. Stay safe when exploring.
❤❤ Beautiful Chateau, really love this one, did you see any ghosts?
Dave it was so good. Please allow me one gripe the panning a little fast as can't see all you see but if anything just a little constructive criticism.
Ps what about go find me for Mick s passport.
We see more when your all video separately. Excellent
Yeah I've learned a lot it's a old video 3 years ago I filmed, next week irs brand new video
@@AWE83 i feel like rescuing somewhere rescuing a house may help me . I missmy mam so much itzkilling me
I believe the music box you found in the kitchen was an old banjo.
Loved the little chapel.😍😎
Enjoyed the video and loved the music in the background
a canopy bed was with drapes to keep the people in bed warmer and keep cold out
With as many places you go into with windows open, why not at least close them? I know others might open them but all the later it'll decay from all the rain.
1st bedroom is a latchhook rug on the wall/corner I believe but beautiful beds, wonder if the era they didn't make "large beds" cause of the 2 matteresses to make a big one?
It’s always Christmas morning with you Dave ha 🇬🇧❤️
I thought I recognised a Tibetan or Vietnamese theme in the attic, I also found it very spiritual. The Church spire looked Tibetan. I absolutely loved this video. Thank you very much Dave.
Haven’t been here in awhile loved this!👍🤩
It is a timing light to tune your car
Dave I was late. But oh boy loved it especially attic 🎉
Fantastic place i never seen so much stuff left behind especially in the atict of this house .
Its mind boggling how they built these places because they didn't have what we have now to build homes and they last for years and years not like the uk homes just seem to rot away so quickly when abandoned great find guys i really love these places.
Thats so so sad.Poor lady and all thats left is her crumbling house which is so beautiful. Strange life nothing left after our demise but memories but only if anyone remembers.
Afternoon Dave.
That place was so beautiful love it ❤
Hey Dave, this is one crazy looking place, the story you told in the beginning, just doesn't to fit with the Chateau, the owner seems to have been in the arts of some sort, I hope you can get the real back story on this one. Great find. Love from N.Y.
Lots of stuff has been removed since the last video I saw of this place. Mainly stuff removed from the attic room.
I need everyones support i lost my nan nearly u months ago it hurt so much but the last month or so was my 40th and been the biggest struggle so bare with me. I will be back better then ever xx
It is tough thinking of youxx
Hang in there, it will get better iñ time. Take as much time as you need. It's ok to cry.
We love you lots Dave. The pain of loss never goes completely away, but it does get more bearable over time. Life sucks and then we die. All we can do is get up, dust ourselves off after each setback, and try to find something that brings a little joy to our lives. I hope you are enjoying some time with your daughter. Remember that she won't be young and carefree for long. Get in some quality time while you can. You are the same age as my oldest daughter. My biggest regret was always working long hours and not spending enough time with my kids. Family is everything, cherish yours while you can. We'll be looking forward to when you feel stronger 😊❤🧸
Take it easy, Dave. Everyone grieves differently. There is no bad way to do this and there is no time limit on it. I'm super sensitive and everything always takes a long time for me to process. Take care. xx
