Elyssa Sykes-Smith 'subsidium structurae' Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail Tumbarumba 2022

‘Subsidium Structurae’, Latin for ‘Support Structures’, is a site-specific sculptural installation by Elyssa Sykes-Smith that transforms the shop window display and the shop space into a walk-in experience. The artist has focused on humanistic themes in this work - structures of support, communication and community. Visitors were able to immerse themselves in the work, be imaginative, be curious, interact, talk with others, and experience a sense of wellbeing.
