As an American, I love the fact that people from U.K. are enjoying a musical about one of our Founding Fathers! Sad thing is that Alexander Hamilton was one of the lesser known Founders among Americans. They were even thinking about taking Alexander Hamilton off the 10 dollar bill for a time. This is because they wanted to put a famous American woman on one of our bills. I'm not against a woman being on one of the bills, but I was like, "Not Alexander Hamilton! If you are going to remove anybody, remove Andrew Jackson off the 20! That guy was responsible for the Trail of Tears!"

I saw Hamilton a few days ago after obsessing over it for months. My parents got my dad and I tickets for Christmas. I didn't cry at all during the show unless you count the few times I teared up during act one because I was finally seeing it. Then, the second the show ended, I immediately started balling. Then while I tried to go to sleep that night I started crying. The next day I was extremely depressed and cried numerous times. Why, I don't know. I'm still a little sad and feel weird when I listen to it. Seeing the show was the best day of my life. Lol I'm so late, sorry for bothering you with my comment.

Oh gosh I never replied, apologies. So it wasn't too bad I wanna say I was in line for around 10/15 mins but after the show when I was leaving practically half the theatre was in line for merch! So if you are going and want stuff I recommend going before the show starts 😊
Shame because I think I saw it on the same night.. I thought that the central performances were very stiff... I was particularly put off by the audience .. who screamed and yelped and seemed to think they were more important than the show on stage...This was really irritating and destroyed my investment in the show.. I really, really hope that British audiences don't stoop to this idiotic Americanised spontaneous applause the moment a lead actor walks on stage ... Hamilton himself gained no empathy from me at all... Over Hyped.. Over Sold.. and now Over Here !!

In NY they opened a store down the block from the theatre just for Hamilton merch. Maybe they should do that in London.
